So I have 1/2 a 5th of scotch left, a 5th of vodka, most of a 5th of rum, and about 12 beers. I'm not sure I have enough booze to get through the Seattle shellacking we're about to get

Drink every time someone talks about DK Metcalf, you will be out by the second drive

Sorry, if Wentz puts that ball on Ward it's a completion, the corner isn't getting it, if he hits Ward in stride it's a completion, the throw is behind him, you can understand Wentz getting rid of it quickly, but an accurate throw completes and that wasn't an accurate throw.  Frankly if you're trying to hit a guy you're expecting to sit down in a soft spot you don't need to throw it that hard, he was trying to hit him in stride and missed behind, that tape analysis smacks of Orlovsky picking a piece of tape and making a narrative to fit, if he was picking one instance in a consistently good season or Wentz hadn't shown he's more than willing to lead his receiver into a massive hit already multiple times this season I might be more inclined to believe he was trying to protect the ball and his receiver.

Yeah - He makes the throw before Ward makes the break to the outside.  It looks like to me that he was expecting Ward would stop.  I mean maybe Wentz should have placed it outside but Orlovsky has a point in that he made the right read.  This mistake may very well be on Ward and not Wentz.

Jason Peters, 3 awful blocks on the possession that resulted in a safety.  He does not deserve to be the LT based on his play.

At this point it could be the best formation. Whatever moves the ball down the field.

Is Lane Johnson playing on Monday? He left the game on Sunday, but there's no news so I assume he's ok?

It doesn't look like he was asked about Lane, just Kelce and Ertz and then a bunch of BS about whether or not Wentz in the starter which he obviously is.

Stuck with Wentz for awhile but I think it would be best to outright get rid of Howie.  He's blown pick after pick and there is no young foundation to this team.  Bleak outlook although the current draft position trajectory is reason for hope.  IDC if Doug stays or goes necessarily.

Smoke a cigar with the Scotch.

So it took week 12 for Doug to 'simplify the offense'? WTF?

Seattle is literally dead last in passing defense, by a lot...dead last in total yards given up per game, but top 5 in run defense.

can’t wait to see what type of gameplan Doug comes up with given this information

Not to mention the best QB in franchise history. White QBs have basically been the minority throughout Lurie's tenure as owner.

Not so ong ago we had three QBs with Irish names, only one of whom was white.

Run 80% Pass 20%

That’s the Doug we’ve come to know. Whatever makes the most sense, rest assured he’ll do the opposite.

McNabb, Cunningham, McMahon?

Black Irish

So what do we make of Doug's hesitation to commit to Wentz for Monday? I mean he eventually does but there is definitely hesitation there and he says tough decisions have to be made and mentions one of those as the QB position.

I was listening when he said it. Part of me wonders if he really is thinking about making a change and part of me wonders if he is just being a smart ass.

Maybe Doug actually does know Seattle sucks defensively and if ever there was a chance to start Hurts, it’s Monday

Could be... Doug isn't the best in press conferences though so not sure he can play the smart ass card? But yeah I mean he could well be I wouldn't rule that out. Maybe he is playing to the media a little? Giving them what they want almost? Though I wouldn't suggest that is the best strategy.

Nothing. You're stuck with Wentz. Get over it

Could well be but then it could also be seen as an ideal opportunity to get Wentz going.

love the report from Adam Schefter Maybe someone like Doug ,Carson or Schwartz will wake the hell up

No because Wentz had his chance to "get going” against Dallas when they were the worst pass defense and had Ben Friggin Dinucci under center and he looked terrible again in that game and almost lost it
