Nothing. You're stuck with Wentz. Get over it

Not entirely true if you bring in a new coach. He may want his own guy and I don’t like what being said of Carson Lately.

No because Wentz had his chance to "get going” against Dallas when they were the worst pass defense and had Ben Friggin Dinucci under center and he looked terrible again in that game and almost lost it

Well that is also very very true.

Nope. McNabb, McMahon, and Don McPherson.

Maybe Doug actually does know Seattle sucks defensively and if ever there was a chance to start Hurts, it’s Monday

The key to beating the Seahawks is passing outside the hash marks

If Doug picked this week to start Hurts it would solidify him as the dumbest NFL head coach of 2020-21

That was a weird press conference by Doug. Either he’s playing coy and trying to keep Seattle on their toes about who’s starting, or he’s legitimately thinking about pulling the plug on Wentz.

If Dalton plays that game we’re 2-7-1 right now. We got lucky. Honestly if Garapolo plays week 4, we’re 1-8-1

It's true for this season and next

Oh please Doug already has that title, and with how bad Wentz looks im sure most people wouldn’t blame him for making the switch

Don't forget Don McPherson who I don't think ever made the roster.

They did have Sean Lee

Yeah I wouldn't disagree with that. I mean who knows really as things could have gone differently but yeah I mean on paper if Dalton and Garrapolo play those games we very likely lose them.

This is the game where Doug sticks with the run game. 55 carries for 61 yards

This, and in the post game press conference he will point out that we always say he never commits to the run

Also in the "what if, show” — if The Eagles had Brooks, Dillard, Seumalo, and Johnson healthy they wouldn’t be 1-8-1.

We aren't?

Or maybe even if Sanders, Goeddert and Ertz are healthy.

It was a snide response to those who are cherry picking our wins because other teams had one guy or two guys injured, and making believe we’re actually a 1-8-1 team in "reality”

Those players would not affect Doug’s unimaginative vanilla game plans or foolish situational playcalling so we really could be 0-9-1

someone check on @eagle45

If you’re going to implement more 13 personnel you might as well deactivate Jeffery.

DP sure makes things harder on himself by the way he answers questions.  Hearing him say it rather than reading the recap makes me wonder if he is considering a change at QB

But they would give Wentz more time to go trough his progressions 3 times until someone get's open

Perfect? Nope. Much better than Peters? Clearly yes. Mailata just needs more reps.

Seriously, Doug needs to go hide in a closet. That said hopefully Carson get's the hint and plays better somehow. Question is who's going to bench Pederson's play calling?

I think a team functions best if everyone is accountable, and the fact is the Eagles only put up 3 points in the entire first half against the Giants and zero points in the entire first half against the Browns.  It shouldn’t be outlandish thinking for Pederson to say to Wentz "Carson, we’re going to get Hurts in there in the second half to see if it sparks us”.

Flores seems to be pushing the right buttons in MIA.  The offense was stagnant last week with Tua so he put Fitzpatrick in to try to spark the team.  The team lost and Tua is still the starter — but maybe it can wake the team up.

Wentz would still find a way to take the sack.

i hope that kid figures it out but man....this just ain’t his year

Hell, we’re 2-7-1 if Gilbert played.

To be fair to Doug he has answered those same questions twice already this week and yet he's being asked a third time. Carson is the starter until he isn't. That might be Monday, next week, next year or 5 years from now.
