That’s not always the WR’s fault.

Oh I know.  I was just trying to be more realistic about his performance.  I'm really happy to see him make a few plays.  For some reason though, he looked more lumbering than fast/quick on the PR.  I also didn't like early in the game when he ran in to Boston Scott messing up the timing of the play.  It looked like it was there to develop.  That's 2 weeks in a row where he's been involved in a bumbled up play.

Let's hope he builds off this game and can continue to grow.

You can call that on just about any offensive possession.  He barely touched the DB.  Go back and watch it.

I don’t need to. It was a clear penalty.

I think they have to start Hurts next week now

The offseason decision-making just got 1000X tougher

Yup

Wrong.

McNabb went on to win through the playoffs and an  NFCCG after getting benched and Nick Foles was not only benched here, he was let go, benched in Tennessee then came back here and won the Super Bowl as Super Bowl MVP.

and foles had to leave before coming back and still isnt a franchise type qb.

Man y’all just can’t be satisfied with anything

Just being realistic.  I said my piece but also put a positive spin hoping he can grow.

Jalen Hurts looked about as good as Tua did with Miami. Tua has been very unimpressive with Miami. He's been carried by that aggressive Miami defense.

Reagor is behind on offense right now. It’s plain as day. That’s a big reason to take PR off his plate. And that’s not including his labrum tear and thumb injury.

He was on PR duty early on... and catching a punt isn't exactly that complicated.  He was absolutely behind on offense... and they refused to give him easy opportunities to make an impact.  Jet Sweep - easy to do.  Punt return - he did it in college, the basics are the same.  Only the speed is different.  Flanker screens - simple for him to be the target, more complicated to make him the blocker.  But for whatever reason, they worked on him doing the other things more... and its not worked.  Give him the taste of success on the easy stuff and he'll be more hungry to do the other stuff.   Just running some 9s would be fairly simple too, but they don't seem to want to do that with him either.. since the opening game - where they did.   Just no rhyme or reason to what they have been doing with him.

Yea I know, and I get you. I’m just desperate to see some love for Reagor with everything considered & everyone still going on about Metcalf & Jefferson.

Peters should start next week on the bench sofa.  I want to see him with that humiliation.

He can be the first guy up with an injury.

FYP 😉

Lots of wishful thinking from the anti wentz crowd...

I'm not anti-Wentz. I'm a realist at this point.

It wasn't.  And if it was, it should have been called 20 more times against the Packers and Eagles.

I agree with your final sentence.

In taking Reagor off the scrub list, that was nice.

Isn't happening. Wentz has been on a standing 8-count for pretty much the entire season and hasn't played one great game all season long. He's mentally cooked. There's no QB controversy moving forward. It's Hurts the rest of the way.

Thank you. I think his head's been hit too many times. Clowney hit was evil.

He made a bunch of mistakes and didn’t even try on one go route. It’s nice to see him flash, but he has a lot of work to do as a WR. No doubt.

It was another pathetic effort by everyone

The Eagles cant block, run, pass... really anything.  They had a couple guys run into each other in the back field.

The narrative of this season is written at this point

The only thing that changes the situation is if Hurts plays pretty well.  Then the conversation changes entirely anyway

Hurts will play well enough to get them to trade Wentz to Indy, then he'll stink it up next year and Indy will win the Super Bowl with Wentz. Meanwhile Doug and Howie will have saved their jobs for this year.

Wouldn't surprise me if we won out with Hurts and it Fs up our draft choice where Howie will pick a defensive end that stinks anyways.

Welcome to life as an Eagles fan

2 organisations in NFL history have had this amount of OL change on a game by game basis at this point in an NFL season. The 2020 Eagles and 1983 Buccaneers.

Roob is really kicking the hornet's nest tonight.

This team is Stilicho. There's no turning back; only a total reset can fix this.

We won the Super Bowl 3 years ago. We have been in the playoffs 3 years in a row.

We're not the Lions, Bengals, etc.
