He’s a backup now (at best).

This looks like Eagles football

But is it worth it to keep the guy who got you into this situation and allow him to make moves to try to get you out of this situation which means further restructuring current players?

I made it overwhelmingly clear I wanted Jefferson, with no if ands of buts about it.

I know @Iggles_Phan was right there with me.

It was not a minority, there was a bunch of us.

@VaBeach_Eagle how do you go look at your saved old board profile, and can I see all of my posts if it is saved ??

@Iggles_Phan and I were Jefferson’s biggest cheerleaders and I believe you were with us.  Most NFL ready receiver after Jeudy.   That said, he isn’t an Eagle.  Metcalf isn’t an Eagle  Ceedee Lamb isn’t an Eagle. We  have got to live outside of could have been.

So what do we have?  I don’t hate Reagor and I understand the attraction of speed but didn’t like his agility and taking off plays. That said, I think he has potential.  He may well be a good fit with Wentz and I thought JJAW could be too.  What they aren’t getting is routes designed for them. That’s on Peterson.  Don’t expect players to fit your plans coach.  If anything Belichick should have taught us it is design plays to your players’ strengths. I like Fulgham’s potential a lot.  Agile, with good body control.  Struggles with some drops.  Poor man’s Michael Thomas.  All three can highpoint the ball. If only Carson could control the floats, he could be awesome with them.   The X/Slot platoon of Fulgham/Ward and even JJAW have potential but they need real time to work with Moorehead and Wentz.   Hightower seems to me to be a slot.  Could project to play some X.  He can learn to track better.  Wentz needs a disciplinarian at QB coach. (And as we will see, so does one look and go but accurate, Jalen Hurts).  I think Wentz can recover his accuracy.  I like Reagor as a Z.  Fast enough with his feints.   I like Quez as a back up Z. All will have at least a year under their belts at the start of OTAs next year.

I’ve always thought if NE hadn’t drafted Michel at #31 the Eagles would have taken him at #32.  When he went off the board the Eagles traded out, allowing BAL to draft Lamar Jackson.  CLE took Nick Chubb just a couple of picks later.

Eagles had to, in turn, trade up from #52 to #49 to draft Goedert in front of DAL.

Goff doesn’t possess the ability to think on his own. If McVay wasn’t his literal brain—he would probably be out of the league already.

SB 53 was the evidence

He’s basically Jimmy G for the Rams. Game manager who can make some throws when the run game is clicking. But credit to McVay for recognizing that’s the best formula for their offense.

New England has drafted terribly for a while now. They’re right there with the Eagles as far as their ineptitude there.

Doug should just have Jalen Hurts run McDaniels’ offense for the last 4 games and see if the Eagles can recoup that 2nd round pick.

Yup. So far this year they have 475 pass attempts and 395 runs. That’s a 55/45 pass to run ratio.

I’m not missing any point. I’m being very literal that this happened with Dillard and he openly spoke about it. That’s it. I didn’t say it means anything significant one way or the other.

Not you, bud.  The specific reports that say things along the lines of, "The Eagles are down on him because of this...that...or this".

He's only played a handful of snaps in the NFL and was injured this year.  Let's see how he comes back next season, that's all.

Downright tortuous. Especially with the slop we get to watch weekly. Gotta get one of Chase, Waddle, or Smith next season to begin the healing.

I want Joe Brady before the Falcons get him

Its intriguing but has he had much experience?   He was with the Saints for 2 years and 1 with LSU and now Carolina.

Man I’ve seen suggestions for McDaniels as HC and Patricia as DC on these boards.  I think that would be my quitting point.

Yeah, why would anyone want the Dbag who backed out of an NFL HC gig and cost us Reich to be our HC?  F him and the horse he road out of Indy on.  Sure, Reich probably would've ended up getting a HC offer eventually, but maybe we would have played in 2 SBs back-to-back with him here?  Or maybe we'd have gotten another TWO seasons with him as our OC before he moved on?  Would have been nice whether just 1 more seasons or 2.  But McDhead had to screw it all up so NO, he doesn't get to be our HC and he sucks anyway.  Seriously, who the F turns down a HC gig in the NFL?  F'ing scare-edy cat.

And Patricia has shown the Billicheat is the real D brains for NE.  So a big F NO to both of them.

I was told Reagor fits Pedersons scheme much better than this kid.

Those are some confident and impressive routes. Rookie of the Year.

Maddox is useless? Do you remember Bradley Fletcher? Were you ever here for the days of Cary Williams, Byron Maxwell or Nolan Carroll?  It seems to me that Maddox isn't as bad as any of those players.  He's undersized but athletic.  I think the scheme makes it difficult for him but he's not useless.

Maddox is useless on the outside yes. And yes I do remember Cary Williams, Bradley Fletcher etc. Maddox is undersized and gets beat on near enough every play that he's targeted.

We could draft another QB in the second round and a developmental LB in round 3!

Imagine the greatest, best, most awesome thing that has ever happened to you.

Now imagine the opposite of that.

That would be us if we hired McDaniels.

Yup

I didn’t say anything about Wentz. All I said was 10 points against the Saints defense is fair for what we saw from Hurts.

But go ahead and keep crying.

He's just an enormous Wentz hater and has been since Foles. Just ignore him.

Good, at this point get Doug fired. He's a buffoon that can't find his own arse with both hands

BTW... watching the Patriots... this is not a well coached team.   They are just terrible.   How did they get 6 wins?

I'm a little surprised that Bellicheat didn't retire when Brady left. He's pulling a j.p.
