Dallas best defensive performances by points:

7 points allowed: Week 14 versus Cincinnati with Brandon Allen at QB.
17 points allowed: Eagles on Sunday.
20 points allowed: Week 1 versus Rams
23 points allowed: Eagles in Week 8.

This is the same team that gave up 49 to Cleveland, 41 to Washington, 39 to Atlanta, 38 to Seattle and Arizona, 34 to Giants and Baltimore, 33 to SF.

Eagles game week 8 is actually 16 cause we scored a defensive td.  But i got your point.

Would be nice to have at least 1 stud receiver

Jake has sucked since he's been paid

Instead we have bust and reach

Another 2 examples of Hurts issues throwing to the middle of the field. It’s been a recurring theme every game he’s played and is imo the reason why he can never be a legitimate starting QB. The guy can only make throws to the outside. It’s impossible to move the ball consistently when you can’t make throws to 70% of the field.

He's played in 3 games though.  There is no chance he could improve in that area?

It would be one thing if he was doing this after playing for multiple seasons.

Don't forget, only 15 points came by way of our offensive drives. We got a TD and a 2PC as a result of a fumble return.

EDIT: The 2PC failed. We got a safety that game also.

And 7 of those points in week 8 was from the Eagles D fumble recovery TD. Wentz/Hurts/Doug/Swoop/everyone has underperformed against Dallas this year.

Edit: just wanted to make it clear if the 10 posts before mine didn't.

You know what’s amazing is if Jamison Crowder would’ve played all 16 games for the Jets he is on pace for 1000 yards and 9 tds (played 11 games and really it’s 10 he left after a series in one game).

Yep.  Teams are easily adjusted to Hurts at the half, not a good trend.  They will begin shutting him down early as more film comes out.

Doug's playcalling was ish with Wentz in there as well. Dude is stubborn. We need a new HC or a real OC to call plays. I wouldn't mind Smith or the OC from Buf as the new HC

And as I pointed out, Hurts put up 255 more yards than Wentz, and it netted 2 points and 1 loss.

Yeah... I wasn't going to go through defensive scores.  The total PPG is what I went by.  But, that's even more damning, isn't it?  So, 16 and 17 offensive points against the 3rd worst scoring defense in the league (and they only rose to 3rd worst, as a result of the Eagles' offensive woes against them).   They were the second worst last week before playing the Eagles again.

Yep.  Get Brian Daboll in here ASAP.  He is the gunslinger whisperer.

Welp, clearly lost my Reagor bet with @4for4EaglesNest so got myself a new avatar for the next 3 months.  Enjoy everyone.

Tbh every game we played Dallas since 2016 has been a struggle to score 24 points besides the 37-9 beat down and even then we scored 7 in the first half

16: 23 and 27 (was a meaningless week 17 game and Dallas really didn’t play guys as they won HFA)

17: 37 and 0

18: 20 and 23

19: 10 and 17

20: 23 and 17

Why do you guys even reply to this loser Arsenal79? I blocked him months ago. He is a troll and only tries to get you guys to bite. You walking right into his traps. Treat him like the worthless piece of trash he is and throw him out of the boards by ignoring him.

Yep, I generally don't go the ignore route, but it is time.  Had to clip several people just now.

I actually just pointed out in another post the Eagles against Dallas during the last five years have had struggles scoring points. In 2016 they got 27 but Dallas was resting guys because they already had clinched home-field. And they scored 37 in the SB year. The rest of the games the Eagles have scored less than 24 points against the Cowboys. And I don’t think the Cowboys have had a particularly good defense for most of that time

Mcnabb has my vote

He definitely doesnt deserve coverage but it's mostly because he plays for New England.  Brady and Belichick just went thru their divorce and most fans and media want to see how they do apart and Cam happens to be Belichick's QB trying to show he can win without Brady.

If Cam was playing this bad on Jacksonville he wouldn't get much attention.

The attention he gets is not from his play or lack thereof on the field.  It's from being in NE with Belichick and his flamboyant, emotional personality.

Good traits to exhibit if you want to be popular with Hollywood. And who owns most of main stream sports media?

Only surrendered 20 ppg last year, IIRC.

That he would hit 2/3 of these marks:  750 receiving yards, 6 TDs, or 55 receptions.  WHOOPS!

I mean you still have a game

He still has a chance if he goes off against Washington. He’s only 369 yards, 5 tds or 25 receptions away from winning that bet
