Carson requesting a trade even if it sounds like he’ll be the starter next year? After subpar play for three straight years? He is sounding more immature by the day.

Logan Thomas is going to eat this team alive

If this and yesterday's reports are both true, it appears the Eagles picked Doug over Carson.

After 5 years of starting Doug says they need to build the offense to fit wentz strengths. WTF have they been doing the past 5 years and why hasn’t Doug created or changed the offense to fit his QBs style in 5 years?   Doug is really that clueless.?????

Exactly my thoughts. Gonna cater to his strengths now??

I think Lurie has been a terrific owner but if he’s not embarrassed by what the organization has become with Howie and Doug were F_____.
You give your guy $120 million, draft a QB in the 2nd Rd soon after, throw the ball as much as any team in the entire league w/o one single above average WR and your Head Coach says "I’m gonna build around my WB’s strengths”

Ho.Lee.S___.

Imagine being Wentz and seeing Dallas trade for Cooper, Arizona getting Hopkins, and Diggs going to Buffalo. Those teams went out of their way to help their young QB's. And then your team goes and takes a QB in the 2nd during a loaded draft at Reciever. Last off season felt like a total vote of no confidence in Wentz. It does not surprise me he's lost faith in this organization when they refused to build around him.

lol Wentz can go.

Draft a QB.

Lol find a role for Hurts. Shouldn't have drafted him to begin with

Drafting a QB in the 2nd round and then doing what Doug and Howie did was stupid as hell

Never liked this logic. If your QB is your guy and you've given him the keys(a mega contract) then you shouldn't make him compete because...he's supposed to be the guy

Didn’t affect Aaron Rodgers

Subpar play for 3 years?  Wild.  Subpar roster development, subpar player development, absolutely.  Doug reminds me of Buddy Ryan: too smart for the room, not smart enough to lead a team.

What's the last correct move this team has made?

What pisses me off is it's the Eagles trying to do things their way rather than the logical way.  Almost every single move they've made since SB52 you can argue with.  Not one thing has made sense.

If it's true that Wentz feels that way, then Wentz needs to go. Honestly, he hasn't been willing to work on his mechanics for years and Doug hasn't really held his feet to the fire about it. But, I''m skeptical about anything Schefter reports after him finally admitting that Wentz didn't ask to be traded.  I think Schefter had more insiders when he worked for NFL Network vs. now at ESPN.  But, if anything, Doug hasn't been that tough on Wentz to warrant Wentz feeling the relationship is beyond repair. If Brian Flores were the coach, Wentz would've been benched after 3 games of stinking it up.  Doug gave him at least 10 games and chances to improve.

Nope. Having DeVanta Adam’s opposed to Greg Ward doesn’t hurt either.

I don’t understand this. Carson has been a bad QB this year and has been mediocre since his injury. Those things typically don’t get fixed by adding new weapons - they just get shoved under the carpet.

We can tell a good QB from a bad QB without needing an all world supporting cast.

Prepare for Trevor Lawrence to be an eagle.

Meh, Mort and Schefter sound like they are just repeating the same thing they said two weeks ago. Again they didn’t even cite sources.

I'm with you. Doug's lack of assertiveness has hurt this team a ton (whether it's his dealing with Carson, assistant coaches, or Jason Peters), but so has Carson's stubbornness. Don't know how you fix either one. I'd just clean house at this point.

They're never going to cite sources. Neither guy just throws stuff at the wall. They're credible.

I chose this name to update KolbFan4 for the new board, but if Wentz can’t handle a bad year that forced Doug to bench him, then he is never going to be the franchise guy here. That won’t fly in Philly.

I trust Mort more than Schefter.

Gold Standard

The New Norm

QB Factory

No caps rule

How about total s__ show. What a poorly run organization. Dear Lord.

I don't believe that new Wentz story for one second. Its the media creating a storm and putting 2 and 2 together and getting 14.

Why can’t this organization just be normal? What a crap show smh

So while they are credible and no doubt they heard things the biggest question from unnamed sources are if the source is credible not the person reporting it.  Is it Howie or Doug or just a random person in the front office without first hand knowledge or is it Kelce or Cox or just a random player on the team or is it wentz agent or just a random agent over hearing conversations.  I don’t question the report but I always take them with a grain of salt when they come from unnamed sources.

They always cite sources. I’m not saying they need to name names, but they aren’t even saying "team sources” or "league sources”
