Well it worked in 2017 for us. To be honest we still have no clue what happened that year. Did the FO step in and force Doug to give up game planning, scripting to Frank or was it Dougs choice? No one outside the building knows. Did the FO hire all these coaches and Doug just refused to really take there input and use them? Was that the reason there has been a battle between Howie and Doug this year. 

To me Doug and the FO relationship is just in a really ugly spot and I really dont see how they get it back. They might try and put on a pretty face, but you know its boiling underneath. They may or may not keep Doug this year, but I just dont see him lasting past next year no matter what. Just dont see him making a difference next year.

According to Pelissaro, the Eagles approached Schwartz about an extension. He also had hip and eye surgeries. 

Not that it matters, but Scangarello apparently is here on a one-year deal.
