To me, it's one of the major leaps.  At least he's done it.  Reid did it in GB.  Harbaugh here before going to Baltimore.  What did Diug do besides coach HS and be Andy's best friend?

On howie: Don’t think howie needs to be fired yet. However if you keep going down the road where you have every other draft produce one player like 2017 and 2019 (so far) then at some point it’s coming. I just gonna point this out Just because you won a Super Bowl once in the past does not give you a free pass for the rest of your life to be mediocre or slightly above average. If that was the case the Giants would still have their general manager in place or Brian Billick would still be the head coach somewhere in the NFL because he won a Super Bowl.  You don’t get to win just one and then live off of it for decade. I do agree it’s too early to talk about him being fired. However i don’t think that would be the case in 2-3 years if we are where we are. 

On Doug: I find this one way more ridiculous than the howie one. Do I think there’s a possibility that 2017 was his outlier year? Depends on how the next couple seasons ago. However I think he’s a good coach I don’t think the Eagles have adequately given him the talent to succeed on offense So far especially with dealing with a covid offseason. I made this point during the off-season and I will make it again you relying on DeSean Jackson, three rookies, Greg Ward and jjaw was a bad decision by the front office and you’re seeing a pay off as eagles wide receivers are ranked as the worst wide receivers group in the NFL yet again

On Carson: I find this one more ridiculous than the previous two. I’m not gonna trade a guy cause he had two bad games in a row. That happens from time to time. I fully expect he gets himself back on track and looks better with more time with his WRs and if the oline holds up. However I do think he has mechanics and footwork things that he needs to work on. And it’s pretty obvious when you watch that he needs to be more consistent in that area. It was an issue at times last year even when he was successful down the stretch 

on cox and jackson: I don’t think Fletcher Cox is cooked I just don’t think he has those days where he is dominant every time he takes the field are likely over. Does that mean cooked? No that just means he’s a good player not a dominant player anymore. I think he can be dominant for a game but I don’t think you’re going to see 2017 Fletcher Cox regularly. And for his cap number that’s a high number for a guy with 3 sacks in his Last 21 games. I get sacks aren’t everything but that’s way below what you expect if you believe he’s still dominant. As for Jackson he still a below average run defender. You saw it in that Rams game Along with others who were also not good. That was part of the issue of why he got benched in Jacksonville. According to espn stats and info he has 2 QB hits. Eagles have 33 mil In cap space Dedicated to 3 DTs and have 2 QB hits and 0 sacks to show for it. Not exactly something to write home about. And I don’t think they exactly played outstanding offensive lines the first two weeks of the year

on Lawrence: I don’t think they’re gonna be bad enough to tank for him anyways. It’s a moot point. And they aren’t going to tank for him. They might just be a really bad team with two tough 5 game stretches this year. 

on ertz: frankly if you Somehow manage to be 3-5 or 2-6 as the deadline approaches you probably should look to trade him because it does not appear as if the Eagles want to sign him long-term At what he’s asking. So that one I actually get if you aren’t going to bring him back for 2021 and the eagles continue to play poorly. Frankly I would feel that way at the trade deadline about most of the players if the Eagles continue to not win games and play poorly.

on bengals: I thought this was an 8-8 when they started the season. So Ive been in the camp that i didn’t think this roster was good enough to be legit SB contenders and with the injuries they already had hard to see them winning more than 9 games which they’d be possibly a fringe playoff team. If they beat the Bengals which is still a question mark. I think people are taking for granted that the bengals are just bad so the Eagles are going to beat them. The Eagles the first two weeks have been equally as bad as the bengals. If the Eagles win that game they aren’t done but they Do have an uphill battle. The eagle schedule is not easy. Now the injuries could happen (like that niners game however deebo Samuel and kittle likely back) and it benefits them and they win some games they aren’t expected too. It’s unlikely you are favored in games vs. steelers, Ravens, Seattle, packers, saints, az and at Dallas. That said i still think this team is a 7-9 win At best. which to me the eagles would be in nfl purgatory as you’d been a slightly above average team each of the 3 years since winning a super bowl of that occurs this year.

Great movie....one of my favorites and Oldman was nothing short of fantastic in it.....that scene is his best.  True Romance was also fantastic!

He's a backup QB.  The truly sad part is if he played one week without his mustache everyone would see it.  They'll go about 4-12 and not draft a QB, which would be sad and hilarious at the same time.

They would be in purgatory if they went 9-7 the next two years. I don’t know how anybody can sit here right now even before the last two games to say I really like the direction that this team has been going in. The end of last year was fools gold. They played four of the five worst teams in football and managed to lose one of them (dolphins), played in one of the worst divisions of football in the last 10 years and were fortunate Dak Prescott had a bum shoulder going into Philadelphia. It took all that just to win a God awful division. We’ve had five drafts in this new era, two of those drafts we have one player that’s productive. Add on there’s a good chance none of our top 3 picks This draft are going to play significant snaps for the next month or two months (unfortunate with reagor cause i thought he could have been much more productive if wentz hadn’t been struggling).

I don't really see Doug being gone this year either unless something unforeseen pops up. Super Bowl and 2 division championships. This year has been no offseason/preseason and injuries too numerous to count. We can be pretty certain Schwartz will be gone, his contract ends this season. Let's hope they re-think their offense(offensive?) brain trust this coming off-season. Getting somebody who knows how to draft NFL players wouldn't hurt either.

I don’t think he’s a Baller. I do think you can win 6 to 7 games with him as a starting quarterback in this league. He’s not a Super Bowl winning type of quarterback. Not having chark last night was definitely a problem for him because that is his number one go to guy. i think he’s more of a solid back up quarterback in this league. Then again I also know Jacksonville’s offensive line is one of the worst in the league so I’m not sure how many quarterbacks are winning with that team consistently. Frankly I think that colts win week one is going to wind up screwing them over when they get to draft time
