Speaking of player selection, I think WR has to be the pick in the first round again, all things being equal.  Jeffery, Jackson, and JJAW will all be gone next season and that leaves Reagor, Ward, Hightower, Goodwin and Watkins so far.  Teams need to score 30+ at will to win in the NFL now.

Very little money, if any, for free agents.  I was joking earlier, but I wonder if Howie gave any consideration to a JJAW for John Ross swap; we lost all our speed at WR in the last 2 games.

that or DE

Just like Eagles/Bengals lol.  What a joke

Eagles have now played the two worst teams from last season without a win to show for it.

No you’re not!

You'll watch Every week ... and join in the misery.😆

I am trying to look into to golf packages for the winter months to keep me from losing anymore years off my life than this year already has.

Watching this is just compounding that problem.

Although everyone getting to not count this year towards their age helps a bit. 😅

just was checking cap for 2021and the saints are worse off then us

They won a SB 3 years ago and went to the playoffs in each of the last 2 years.  Lots of flukes went into the last 2 playoff appearances, but it comes across as pretty brash on the national level to make a big change.

That narrative changes if they have a bad 2021.  Then you can say that the team has regressed for 4 years straight.

As abysmal as we are I feel we at least beat NY once probably nobody else

Roseman has to be removed from player selection.  Let him negotiate contracts on the players that a legit football GM decides to bring in.  We need to get young and hungry again.  These old guys have already eaten and gotten fat and happy.  The NFL is a game of heart.  Those who want it most and have the leadership to bring that out of players are the teams that win.

We tried that.  His name was Joe Douglas. That's how we ended up with a roster lacking young talent.

Dak has thrown for 1,188 yards in three games — and without divine intervention those Turds would be 0-3

Obligatory Howie had the final say over draft picks post.

Got a love watching intelligent football. Packers knew they were going to challenge the call lined up waited milked the clock all the way down and then through the challenge flag

Waddle is my favorite player in the draft for the Eagles.  Awesome player to pair with Reagor for an aerial onslaught offense.

I don't like the DE situation in this draft.  Waddle both has upside and the high floor of very reliably being someone who can separate in the NFL.  If you can do it at Alabama and held your own with Ruggs & Jeudy, who were a year older, you are going to be an NFL stud.

Rousseau from Miami at DE?  Who the heck knows?  1 year of tape when no one saw him coming.  Maybe he'd have been Chase Young 2.0 as a prospect...or maybe he'd be Arden Key, a highly hyped sophomore who fell to round 3 after a disappointing junior year in which offenses looked out for him.  But in the 2021 draft, he'll be a top 10 lock and we don't even know which of the two he is.

Waddle is the way to go.

High floor, high ceiling, elite athlete, lots of production, lots of tape.  Win/win/win.

Saints have a ton of penalties through 3 games

I will be happy to not watch next weeks game on a finicky stream that gives my computer tons of malware.

Did you use nflbite.com?

Can agree on that as well.  For some reason, I just think Lurie can't quite bring himself to get rid of Roseman.  He has made some good decisions and some bad decisions.  Overall, if he has to be here, I would prefer him in that roll.  Just negotiate contracts and let people who know football make football decisions.

I'd really prefer he was let go. He doesn't make anymore of those really nice FA acquisitions and there's been way too many failed high picks

Yeah, better than nothing, but the stream drops out at the worst times.

That looked like our goal line defense.

Waddle is awesome.

I’m not sure how legit Joe Douglas actually was/is.  He hung around a long time with the Ravens without ascending as high as you’d think, and he wasn’t going to be Ozzie’s successor.  Went to CHI for one year, then the Eagles jumped on him.  I consider the mess that is the Eagles secondary a mess that lands on Douglas’ feet.  Now he’s a GM who arguably doesn’t have any power over the head coach in NY — I doubt he lasts very long there.

That should have been picked and end the game

Just because I’m feeling feisty, Greg Ward was a blown coverage away from finishing with 7 catches for 43 yards on 10 targets.

I purchased NFL Sunday Ticket for the first time this season because I thought the Eagles would be an entertaining team to watch:

They need to change the rules. They completely killed onside kick

At least he ran the correct route and caught the ball; Agholor dropped those passes last season.  Ward and Hightower helped them get that tying TD — and great run by Wentz

I buy it every year, and my wife asked me today why I do it since it doesn’t look like I enjoy watching them.

I’m not interested in lowering the bar at WR or grading on a curve.
