Zero chance this defense only gives up 10 points.

Zeke called and said your card board cut out is placed for their game.

That could be five projected starters out on Sunday (Brooks, Dillard, Johnson, Reagor, and Sanders).

We do, however, have a coach and QB that have successfully faced that kind of adversity before.

Someone will step up.

Yeah I dont get the doom and gloom.

We have upgraded the CB play just from Slay alone. , Added Mahlik Jackson to the DT rotation, if Hargrave plays? Should be better on the DL.

The Oline is basically the way we ended the year with last year. WR's should be a decent upgrade with Djax healthy, Hearing JJAW improved, We still have Ward, who was our leading WR the last 4 games and had a connection with Wentz. Add in the possibility of getting Hightower and Reagor who by all reports are better than what we had last year?

We will see, but the main fact we still have the same coaching staff, and the same schemes, VS, the other 3 teams in our division in this shortened pandemic offseason, seems to be the biggest advantage in my mind.

The o-line could be an issue. But who knows, maybe it will work out. The LBs have to prove themselves, but the D-Line should make the entire defense better.

Trashcan number 58 from training camp may be an upgrade.

Bob Woodward.  Geez.

Here's the original article: https://www.inquirer.com/eagles/philadelpia-eagles-doug-pederson-coaching-staff-20200909.html

In addition to the Pederson/Groh/Walch situation, other interesting insights:

- Another account of Carson Walch not having players' respect

- Why Phillip Daniels wasn't retained

- Insights into Groh/Wentz dynamic

- Lurie's interesting reaction to the 2018 playoff win against the Bears

Still holding a grudge, McLane.  Since he differentiates between team sources and NFL sources, I continue to doubt his NFL sources.  I don’t doubt that Pederson wanted to retain Groh but I doubt if that was successful, he wouldn’t have made the other staff changes too.  Walch and Daniels are gone because of their failure to develop talent and it also sounds like Daniels was critical,of,Schwartz rotations.   That probably didn’t fly with Jim.

The Carson conflict with Reich has been previously reported.  Now with Groh.   Until Carson delivers like Peyton, Brady and Rodgers, he might want to sit back and be a little more flexible.  Okay Carson, maybe the no OC is to pressure you as much as appease you.
