I doubt that. NFL would shut that down immediately. If anything you are going to be watching someone watch the game, not the actual game.

I think the bigger concern would be he comes back and it’s not healed enough and he gets hit and it completely tears tbh. The fact he’s still sore I’m guessing they are doing MRIs to see what’s going on with it as precaution. I wouldn’t be surprised if the initial report was made to sound lesser because they didn’t want news that their prize FA might already be hurt. 

It seems that's the risk with this type of injury.  I would think they would do an MRI initially and then just watch his progress.
