Reagor has 5 receptions in 1.5 games for 96 yards.

If you're using counting stats to describe the play of the WRs given how Wentz has been playing, you're doing it wrong.

Nah, just pointing out that Reagor did OK while injured his first 90 minutes or so.

So you're saying 1 good offense, 1 good offense with injuries and 2 dogs.

I think the NFL ought to adopt the short term IR on a permanent basis.  It is working well around the NFL.  It is good for bubble players and stars alike.  I also like the expanded PS, although the Eagles aren’t taking as much advantage of it as possible.

Side note.  I think Lane’s ankle is worse than let on and while he is trying to soldier on, signing Toth is depth in the event both Driscoll and Mailata are in the lineup. Makes me wonder about Wanogho’s knee.

Bengals offense isn’t terrible, burrow broke a record for rookie passing yards in his first 4 games. The only terrible offense on that list is Washington football club

Before the rumor gets out of hand (I blame Russian trolls), BigEFly was not in Salt Lake City last night nor were any of his relatives and would social distance, if he were, from Mike Pence’s hair.   Any similarities to BigEFly are purely coincidental.  To most folks, we all look alike.

The best comment about the fly came from Nicole Wallace. I must paraphrase but she essentially said,  ... the fly wasn't shooed away, it left out of boredom.

WTF. Why would wasteam start Allen over Smith.  It’s like they want to lose.

Yup washington's offense is putrid, bengals offense is ok but young, 49ers offense was banged up and the eagles got shredded on the ground by the Rams.

More concerning is the eagles red zone defense or lack of.

Sacks are nice, turnovers are better, preventing points are ultimately what matters all other defensive stats are fluff

and those #'s would be better if the offense was

#1 healthy

#2 could cut the TO's out

#3 stop calling plays on 1st down that puts them behind the sticks

#4 carson getting more time in the pocket and more on target

#5 RUN THE DAMN BALL

My only guess is much like when Kingsburry went to Arizona he wanted his guy despite the fact that they drafted Rosen the year prior.  If Rivera doesn't feel like Haskins is the QB of the future then try something different.  If that's the case however, I would think they play Haskins to increase or keep his trade value steady.  If he rides the bench the rest of the year no one is giving a premium pick for him.

Rivera can then select one of Lawrence, Fields or any other QB in 2021.  Or they are still just the cluster F that they always have been.

Also, I just realized you meant Alex Smith.  My guess there is he just isn't 100% yet.

To that I think looking back on that great 91 defense is even more impressive as the O was the worst in the league, they couldn't run or pass and we're constantly turning the ball over.

On flip side looking at billy davis Defenses the offense did the defense zero favors as the offense either scored in 30 seconds or punted in 30 seconds leaving the defense to play way to many snaps. Worked great first year when eagles led league in turnover margin but once the turnovers dried up the defense was on field too long giving up too many points.

That 91 defense was special and that team with zero offense still won 10 games, randall doesn't get hurt they're at worst in nfccg against Wash.

This defense has beat up weak offenses and given up points everytime a team gets in the red zone an until week 4 had generated zero turnovers😒

Alex smith has been cleared to participate in team activities, not sure cleared to play?I'm assuming team activities is code for water boy and qb coach.

Love Alex Smith I'm not sure he ever plays again.

Yup Bud Carson was the man, too bad kotite was the head coach.

Sometimes I wonder what a Bud Carson buddy ryan pairing would have looked like or if it worked.

Bud Carson took what buddy had with his 46 concepts and added his concepts from steelers 34 concepts.

Easily the 2nd best defense I've ever seen after the 85 bears under buddy.

Wow just read that. Allen sucks but I'd be worried to put smith in,I hope his leg is wrapped in kevlar if he plays.

Smith is a gamer happy for him and worried at the same time.

Jets for 4 seasons Chiefs one year.

His defenses with steelers browns rams and jets were good.

His fit with the eagles was spectacular

Well Steel Curtain up next.  Ironically, The Eagles have always played the Steelers tough.  A Matter of fact we lead the all-time series by 20 games.   It's been back and forth over the last two decades but again it's an interesting matchup.  We haven't won in Pittsburg since 2000.   Also for some nostalgia....tonight Nick gets another shot a Brady (On two different teams, lol).  Let's remember, The Eagles are the last NFC Team to win a Ring.  That's why our ring is still shining bright.
