I think Pryor is really the weak link. I would like to see Herbig move back to RG,  but without an alternative, he's stuck at LG.

Yup. It’s why seumalo for all the crap people gave on here is actually valuable to the eagles and better than what people think. He’s an above average Lg. He’s not brooks but he is much better than alternatives around the league or even on the roster. Pryor is an absolute killer. Frankly I’d be ok if they just moved on from him. I rather see what sua could do then continue to see pryor play poorly.

Opeta, Juriga, and the new guy must not be showing much at practice.

Cutting toohill to bring back an over the hill curry is about as stupid a move as I can recall

Yes Pryor is definitely weak link

Just wait till we waive Elliot because he missed a 57 yarder

Why? Is Doug mad at Elliott for not saving his bacon in Pittsburgh?

the problem here is that most of your first, second and third rounders are mostly always misses.

barnett i consider a miss @ 1st round

dillard

s. jones

jj

agholor

davion taylor 3rd rounder that is a developmental player

jalen hurts 2nd rounder when the expectation is for him not to play.

smallwood

douglas

Barnett is not a miss. He’s a starting DE on almost every team in the league and will get a big contract whether it’s here or elsewhere.

Dillard is way too hard to make a call on right now. He looked good coming in to fill for Peters at LT last year. He struggled playing at RT. He could very well still be a good LT in the league.

The rest are all all trash.

That is what happens when Perters gets back no doubt but in the meantime, they really need one of these guys to step up. We are carrying 10 OL. Why so many backups are needed if they can’t replace a clear poor performer? How long does Jamon Brown need? We seem to like Opeta and he’s been here long enough but he can’t crack the field?

That’s what I find frustrating about Toohill being cut - if these guys can’t play, we don’t need them all to be taking up a roster spot. Instead we cut a young rookie DE who at least flashed a little in camp

@EagleJoe8 I was going to question your eyes on what's purple and what's blue with the coverage map lol

It sadly took me a few seconds to see they were different colors. You'd think that site would use a more pronounced shade of purple

Either taking up the PS spot Toohill was pegged to get or Jake has COVID

I’d think that too but then again it’s the eagles and i saw them continuously trot out hollins thinking that ward couldn’t have been better for 4 weeks

Yep, and we have a 4 man DE rotation which has been fine. What does Curry add exactly this year that is so valuable to lose a young guy who may develop? Even if they wanted Curry, how about one of the 10 OL or 7 WR or someone like Rodgers or one of the RBs who are less likely to be claimed

If jeffery doesn’t play this week then the eagles made a foolish move to keep him on the roster for 6 weeks when they could’ve easily had an extra roster spot to use over this time. Frankly i think it was foolish anyway. Should’ve just put him on PUP

Exactly. Is curry going to be active if so for who. I'm assuming avery? Which would be equally stupid seeing as he's also young been playing ok and howie spent a 4th on him.

I was never a fan of the curry signing, he adds nothing more than sweat and avery as a pass rusher, he may be a better run defender but who you taking off the field to get curry in on run downs? Graham barnett?

Getting rid of a young guy in toohill so they can activate an over the hill curry who really has no more value than any other DE on the team is frustratingly moronic. 😠

Said the chiefs yesterday made sense with CEH not playing very well over the last 4 weeks. Dolphins make sense cause gaskin is a nice no  2, breida hasn’t been what they thought and Howard’s been an afterthought and he trains in miami

Maybe the Dolphins can sign Bell and release Howard.  I'd love to have him back here on some short deal.  The back up running back situation is such an underrated blunder this year.

I'll put money that Curry blows out his hamstring again.  The way he went down and couldn't even walk week 1 just screamed of an aging players muscles failing him.  Just a part of getting old and bodies wearing down.

The horse has been beaten to death today, especially by me but even if he stays healthy is it really worth losing young talent for 15 snaps a game?

There’s 4.75 dead money to release him. His cap is 4.75. Really just makes more sense to hold onto him or try to deal him for a low round draft pick. Matt Breida actually makes more sense for them to release. First similar to bell in style. Second no dead money hit and clears 3.2 mil

Yep, it WAS foolish.  Even if he does play he's gonna be on a pitch count and they wasted 5 weeks.  Just bad bad management.

I'd take Breida in a heartbeat.  I thought he was on the brink of breaking out in SF.

No it's not worth it. I feel like this horse is worth beating. It's such a stoooopid decision and I'm guessing howie is the culprit.

Only issue with Breida has been he’s also brittle. Tends to always have a nagging injury that takes him out. Don’t get me wrong would love to have Breida and sanders backfield it’s a massive upgrade when both are healthy to what we currently have.

Id also take Patrick Laird. Not the power back we might need, but hes a poor mans McCaffery and we can use a nice backup cause we dont have one.

Would cost us a sixth next year.

Why am i not surprised. Patriots. Karma would be they sign him and jets would be paying him while he destroys them lol.

I think the injuries along the line have more to do with it.  If it was S-K-B-J from LG to RT the running game would look a lot different.  Howard would be of no help right now
