I think Lane stays for awhile. When healthy he's one of the best RT in the league. He was finally beat by Lawrence last season

Every conference has some good prospects.  I'm not saying dont draft from the Pac 12 or Big Sky conference.  But they should be looking at bigger programs first.

The problem with this is they haven’t been great even when they’ve scouted bigger schools. It’s not as if they’ve been hitting at the bigger schools as well over the last 5-6 years. Jordan Matthews was vandy. They took him over someone like allen robinson who many of us thought was a better player. Marcus smith is a big school. Louisville isn’t some small school. West Virginia isn’t a small school.  Barnett was from Tennessee. They’ve had issues scouting in general. Really 2016 and 2018 are their only real good drafts from 2014-2019 (jury out on 2019 but not looking good besides sanders)

I agree. That's not always an option tho. I like Barnett. Big fan. Came out of Tennessee (SEC), 1st rd pick.  Hasn't lived up to the hype. Still young (24 I believe) has time to change that narrative. Just like JJAW imo

I think its hilarious how literally almost everyone that was reported to be great in camp looked like absolute dog ish in a real game. Sweat is the only one to kind of deliver. Seems like Doug is running a soft camp, and we still are somehow injured everywhere.

I think that would be a penalty for too many men on the field. I’d have to check though.

The spin machine is real. This is the thing that irritates me and infuriates me more than anything. I’m sick and tired of hearing the Eagles Fing spin these players like they’re good and then we see it on the field they’re complete dog crap.  I don’t think It well they’re just better practice players then when game players. No you guys are Over exaggerating what you want to instead of what you were actually seeing. It’s like they are trying to purposefully pull the wool over our eyes. And this hasn’t been just this regime this dates back to the reid era

I get what you're saying but Louisville, Vandy and WV are big schools but I'm talking like Bama, LSU, Clemson, Ohio st, Texas, Oklahoma, etc.  Those schools get the best recruits and develop them.  Sure you can find good players all over the country but might have a better chance of finding them at these schools.

True but you only have a limited number of those players coming out. And the players that you want from the schools that you ideal want to draft aren’t falling where the Eagles are usually picking. This year could make the case with jefferson over reagor but frankly i didn’t think jefferson was a good fit. I’d have to go look at their draft picks and see who was available from those schools at their picks.  Like at 14 when we took Barnett from a big school, I want to Lattimore went two picks ahead of the Eagles. Other than that i wasn’t overly thrilled with who was still on the board.

We got Ertz, Foles, Djax, Dillard who I still like from the pac12. Kelce from the American conference. There's talent out there. Either the eagles need better scouts or strip Howie from drafting and put him back in his corner
