Will always love this guy

A guy starting at QB for another team in the conference says he gets pumped up being reminded of Philly.

Philly's greatest athlete of all time?  No, not even close.  May end up going down as Philly's favorite athlete of all time.

I have no clue.  Ask @HazletonEagle

He's going to work out on the side, rehab, and return when the swelling and pain are better.  A national tour of renowned orthopedic surgeons doesn't change that.

Unless there's a surgery option that makes it heal faster or better, right?    I'm just guessing...

I think Herbig's upside is solid backup OG to marginal starter, but he's clearly a better fit at RG.

The real question is Seumalo LG Driscoll C versus Driscoll LG Seumalo C.

I am squarely on the Driscoll at C camp.  He compares so favorably to Kelce's athleticism, only a bit bigger/stronger.

Take note of the 6 yard run Mahomes just had.

All their all-world WRs were covered.  The defense was so far back on their heels straining to make that happen that Mahomes walked 6 yards upfield and literally sat down.

If that were Wentz and our offense, he'd have been torn apart by 2 LB's and a safety en route to a fumble.

I criticize Wentz all the time and will continue to, but he does endure the brunt of the fact that our weapons allow defenses to attack the LOS and pocket.

Very unpopular opinion...

Pat Mahomes is slightly overrated

I have no opinion.  Not sure where Driscoll fits best.  I'd just like to see those 2 fill the LG/OC spots...1 less thing to worry about in upcoming drafts.  If we can get Dillard/Mailata as the bookends, then we only need to worry about Brooks.  A Brooks/Herbig platoon probably gets you through 2021/2022, but that's also going to be very pricey for what we'll get out of Brooks.

If its severe enough, there may be a question of whether to surgically repair it or not.

Maybe eagles are thinking 3-4 weeks, and he is thinking he would rather have surgery and be healthy for his next team.

Who knows.

Driscoll seems like a Herremans type player who will be able to play pretty much every offensive line postion at a passable starter level. Im not sure sticking Driscoll at Center is the best use of his skill because if hes your starting center, youre never going to want to ever move him. Of course center is such an important position. Sort of a catch-22.

If hes a guard and you need to him to play tackle. Sure, youll do that. If he is your center, youre not going to mess with that C-QB exchange with a backup and shift him to any other positions if needed. You negate all of his versatility. He would have to be like an All-pro level center to really make it worth it.

Finding a stud C is hard.  Finding swing OG/OT seems easier.  I'd rather not go back down the Hank Fraley, Jamaal Jackson, Nick Cole, Matt McGlynn path.

he would have to really be a stud though, to overlook the fact that you negate all of his versatility by putting him at a position you wont want to mess with.

Is Driscoll even a better center than those guys? Who knows. Its a complete projection now since he played OT in college.

He's great, but I would love to see a scenario where he and Wentz switched teams just to see how each would do.

Would bet every penny I own Wentz would do better.

Yup.  Funny thing is that most of them were OTs in college as well.

Elijah Holyfield, maybe?

I hope they give the practice squad call-up 20 carries. 2020 Boston Scott is a trainwreck.

I feel like the bills best play all game is turning around looking to the refs begging for a flag

Was just going to post this. I think we're going to miss him a lot when he does finally retire

I would love to see Goedert get time at TE1. If he delivers then it makes moving on from Ertz easy.

I don’t know if he’ll be back within 3-4 weeks, but I hope so.

? I wonder if he means Montae...

until Goedert gets injured again in the next game or 2.

Why is the oline all injured? I believe it's because 95% of the time, they're pass blocking, and the defense can key on it. They're  sitting ducks. That's when lineman get injured. Doug forgot to run the ball? Yes, but not really.

In the first quarter YES. Doug does not run the ball enough. You need to develop a running game to setup the pass. Doug does it in reverse, but has no passing game to setup the run. And once the team is down, you can't afford to run the clock; you throw. But why? I believe it all comes back to Carson Wentz. He started the season looking worse than Bobby Hoying.

To me this is unacceptable. He's still not caught up %100. Guys can drop balls when they no longer trust they'll be where they're supposed to be. just as 'chemistry' can develop, so can losing. And we've been doing too much of it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wentz sat for a down, a series, quarter, or entire game right now to give this highly touted, highly motivated, and in limited snaps, successful kid an opportunity to show us what he's got. What's the worse that could happen to either of them? That the team could win?
