Cleveland is practically begging for teams to take him. There’s one off rumors than there is OBJ on the trade block rumors that pop up every 3 months

I 100% agree. Again if the Browns got a second round pick for him I would be somewhat surprised. It’s because the regime that brought him in isn’t there anymore. Now they are just going to give them away though but I think they’re very open to it if the right package came along. They don’t want to deal with him and they don’t think he’s worth the money they are paying him. Which frankly since he’s gone to Cleveland he hasn’t been. It’s one thing to be a diva and you play like you did with the Giants it’s another when you’re a diva and you can’t stay on the field and your performance is dropping off over a 3 year window.

I don’t think the Browns would just give him away though but I do think the Browns would trade him if the right offer came along and I don’t think that includes a franchise quarterback or a first round pick. And even though the Browns have been a poorly run franchise I don’t see them going to teams asking for a franchise quarterback for a wide receiver who hasn’t been elite in three years, dealing with injuries two of the last three seasons and is owed a ton of money

The Eagles are by no means a great team, but even with two losses, I don't see how anyone can not be encouraged by the direction they are heading in compared to the first two weeks of the season. They were outmatched and injured against two semi SB contenders but showed heart, never quit, and almost snuck away with two wins. I think they will beat up on the teams during this easy stretch and if they can get some guys back, will be in good shape for the last third of the schedule. You can argue all you want if its good or bad from a long term view, but coaches and players jobs are on the line. They aren't going to tank to get better in a year or two when they may not even be here. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

They lost to Washington and tied Cincinnati. They’ve been nothing but horrendous. They need to find a way to win Thursday desperately.

Yeah but that’s the nfl media machine at work. Every time he throws a mini tantrum the rumors pop up. Doesn’t mean there’s any truth to them it could just be him coming a bit unhinged again.

Yeah I think that’s right if it was an overwhelming trade package. That said, they’re clearly not pushing him out for whatever they can get for him.

I think media plays a part but I also think there is way too much smoke there. It was a similar situation in NY with constant rumors and people saying no way, until they finally did trade him.

That’s my point. Weeks 1 and 2, very bad. Week 3 bad but barely better. Week 4 and 5 better just a bad draw of playing against better teams. They aren’t good yet but trending in the right direction.

Yeah I don’t see the Browns asking for Carson wentz cause they know it wouldn’t happen. Plus they wouldn’t want to absorb that type of contact with mayfield also on the roster. And I kind of think the Browns want to get out of that OBJ contract if they could because he’s a pain and not worth the money.

I actually think the Browns would ask for Jalen hurts if they believe Jalen hurts could be a starting quarterback. That makes more sense to me for the Browns if they believe he is starting caliber. And he is cheap for the next three years. So you could get out of OBJ’s contract which is a lot of money and not have to pay a quarterback a lot of money when you’re still gonna have to somewhat pay baker Mayfield due to that no. 1 overall pick contract

That said I wouldn’t want OBJ because he’s a pain in the ass and he’s not been nearly as good over the last four years. He’s either missed time due to injury or when he’s played he’s been OK not great for what he’s being paid. This year he’s on pace for 850 yards and 6 touchdowns. He’s really only had 2 good games all season And they came against Dallas and the bengals. Can say it’s on Baker Mayfield but it’s not like he had a great quarterback as a giant at as Eli Manning was in decline at that stage of his career.

The Browns traded us the Wentz pick because they felt he wasn’t a Top 20 Quarterback.

Well, that worked out well for the Browns.

Different regime in place then. But i still don’t see the browns coming to the table asking for him in an obj trade

No thanks. No expensive rentals even if you can get a comp pick.

A 27 year old quality guard that we can easily resign to take over for Kelce is probably the best case scenario for what we can get for Ertz. I can’t see a team offering more than a 3rd round pick for him given the way he’s playing and the amount of money they would have to pay him. Then Howie will go and draft another Davion Taylor with it.

Why do you think a guy the Patriots franchised tag and weren’t able to sign long term would be easy to re-sign?

What’s up with Warford? Why isn’t he playing?

This shouldn’t need to be said, but ....

The Eagles aren’t going to be acquiring high-priced talent either via trade or on the FA market.  They will be going with youth by necessity, both from a roster building and financial standpoint

Opted out while a FA

I’m really hoping tried to convince him to play instead of going the peters Route and just not trying that avenue. Because at this point you’re paying Jason peters for literally nothing

the patriots never pay anyone. They’ve gone 20 years relying on Brady and a horrible division to carry them to SBs.

It’s one thing to be out of position because of poor instincts or a clever play design, it’s another to give S effort. That play was nauseating.

I accept that Gerry is terrible, but I can’t accept poor effort.

Kinda like if a woman is fat, ugly, and mean, just no redeeming value there.

how in the world did he not get cut?

Driscoll's injury was the direct result of Brown getting beat.

He sacked Carson Wentz on his own.

He got beat so bad that he disrupted Mailata's perfectly fine block....then proceeded to stop and fix his gloves.

He got thrown 7 yards by Campbell and rolled another 10 to be completely out of the play.

Worst OL performance I've seen since Winston Justice but somehow this looked worse.

I think Justice tried, Brown is a big dewsh bag that got the money and now he just doesn't care

I can’t see anyone taking on Ryan at that money and with the cap. I could see a team that’s a contender that needs a WR making the move and i think could manage his cap number more easily than Ryan.

Any logical thought behind this comment? Any quantitative reasoning?

Sure I always have logical thought behind, ummmmmmmmmmmmmm? Or maybe it means wtf are you talking about?  Can't remember it's from 10/14.

Cowboys lost their starting backup tackle Knight to knee surgery today. So they'll be down to their 3rd string OT for the Eagles game.

Cool maybe Barnett will get a sack @HazletonEagle

Most turnover worthy plays this season:

Carson Wentz - 17

Ryan Fitzpatrick - 11

Baker Mayfield - 10

kinda shocked to see Fitz on there
