He was a burner last year.  He likes a little slower right now but we will see how he looks by combine time. I'd guess he will get it all back. 

Separation was never an issue for him.

Wont happen till after the trade deadline is over. People say Im crazy saying thats why he is not on IR already, we will see soon enough.

Pathetic.   Hopefully, they have a better plan for RG than Brown for tomorrow night's game.   Maybe some tricky formations where they only line up 4 official OL and just have an extra eligible player in the game, and the Giants have to figure out which player they don't have to cover on each play.  That would be an interesting gambit.

You can have more than seven on the line but only the guys on the ends are eligible. Ten on the line and the QB under center. Two eligible receivers. Put the QB in the shotgun and you have three.

I am aware... but they need to find where they are lining up.  They can move them all around, make Mailata eligible a couple times.  All it takes is to report an ineligible number as eligible, an eligible as ineligible and then line up correctly.  And the way the on the line versus off the line works in the NFL... the tackles and the slot WR are lined up nearly identically to the LOS.  Really not much difference... just a half step is all it takes to really make it a legal formation.  So the 6th guy in can be a half step back from the 7th and 8th... and 6 and 8 are eligible but 7 isn't, in a bunch formation out wide.  

 

 

 

Incidentally, the entire notion of playing the entire game with only 4 legit OL was completely tongue in cheek.  But the rules don't force who the ineligibles are, just where they line up.  And you can stagger the "on the line" "off the line" if you wish...  there's no rule that says they have to have them all in a row consecutively.  Teams could line up an Hback between the guard and tackle (and have) just needs to be half a step behind the line... 

 

 

But its all just nonsense to kill the time befoee tomorrows game.  With Pryor off the Covid list now, he's the easy odds on favorite to be the RG... and will be an upgrade over Brown.  I suppose they waited until Pryor could be back to waive Brown, but he had to go.  There's no way they could legitimately put him back out there.  That was easily the worst performance by an Eagles OL I can recall.
