Wrong

you do have a funny way of showing it then. "Hoping for the Cards to beat the team badly" doesn't paint a picture of someone who roots for and like the Eagles. It's contradictory to "I am an Eagles fan" from a general relative perspective.

EXACTLY! Well stated.  (God the 90's drafting in the first rd was horrible overall, Harris, Mamula, Bernard WIlliams, Ben Smith, Lester Homes, Leonard Renfro. We kind of hit on Antone Davis and Jermane Mayberry, and Def hit on Tra Thomas, And McNabb.  But thats only a 40% success rate. UGH)

Ben Smith was a stud, but that knee injury destroyed his career.  Such a shame.  His emergence in 1991 is what pushed that defense over the top... well, him and William Thomas at LB.

(Ben Smith was a 2nd round pick though, I believe.)  But the rest... brutal.   Bruce Walker was a 2nd round pick right after they lost Reggie White, they gave him #92, and he couldn't even make the team out of that first Training Camp!  I wouldn't even have called Antone Davis a moderate success.  Lester Holmes was better than him long term, and cost far less.  They traded the following first round pick to get Davis.  And the following year, their first pick was in Round 2, and they landed the great Siran Stacy!   Ugh... back then it just always seemed like they'd draft a guy that could never even get on the field.

The problem, speciaiflly in Philly, is you cant be honest/truthful to yourself and still be a fan. This team blows!!!!!!!

Yes, I think the team that manhandled the Giants(where its going to be close tonight) and a team that beat the Rams is better then the Eagles who lost to the Redskins.

This is the problem with Eagle fans... me, being real takes a load of crap cause this team is BADDDDD, healthy, unhealthy, doesnt matter. BADDD

and yet you got guys on here who says "no one scares me"

Bud, The seahawks, Packers, Rams, Tampa, and probably the Saints beat this Eagles team by 20. lol. "BUT NO ONE SCARES ME LOL GTFO

Or it could be, you are just over reacting to the results that stem from the fact that we have the most injured team in the league right now???

Or you are a troll? there are a few other options, but it would not be nice for me to say.

Its all about the "ITYS"s.  Pathetic.

He was trashing Doug all year.  He wants to prove he is right about that.  The more games the Eagles lose, the better for him to tell us he was right.

Pathetic.

@Bacarty2 What is your username on the Steelers message board?  If you say you don't have one, you are full of ish.  Then we can read your comments over there and see what you say about the Steelers compared to what you say about the Eagles over here.

Getting embarrassed, getting a pick and getting coaches fired does.

Loser’s mentality. Your team is undefeated. You should be happy.

Bacarty is an Eagles fan.  I just went to the Steelers board and verified it.  He has said multiple times he is an Eagles fan in there.

Loser mentality. Guess you should stay with your wife when you catch her in a gang bang cause "giving up and moving forward is a loser mentality" .

Idiot. This Isnt a good team. The quicker you realize it the better off you'll be.

Ha wtf? This is like engaging in a political debate

It's just one play but it speaks to Brown's issues and to Herbig a little bit.2020-10-22.thumb.png.44ec9da64369cf2399947c79ac74f4e8.png.

At the snap you can see Herbig squared up on his DT (71). Brown is already off-balance, leaning inside,

Herbig is still square. Kelce is coming to help, because 48 is not blitzing but Herbig doesn't need it. Meanwhile Brown has turned and is almost at a right angle to the LOS. There is no way he can keep the DT from going straight upfield.

Wentz would have a nice pocket here because Mailata can ride his guy wide but 93 is now in the process of throwing Brown away. Brown has absolutely no leverage.

93 is now in Wentz's face. You can see Mailata's guy will be ridden wide if Wentz could step up even a foot but no, there's no place to go.

It's worth commenting that Driscoll is perfect on this play. His guy makes no penetration and never gets a sniff.

From another angle you can see that Mailata's guy will be pushed past the pocket but Wentz is already seeing the DT in is lap.

Mailata could have done a better job but the collapse of the pocket is all on Brown, who didn't move his feet. If he takes a slide step to his right he's in position to make his block, but no, and he has no chance to recover.

Theres two types of Eagles fans

1) Green I still use the EMB's #1 Cliche Drinking, we can do this, we're gonna win, were the best.

2) Realistic.

I’m as pessimistic as it gets. I think this team sucks, but there’s no way I could sit down and hope this team struggles when they’re far from out of it.

I’m talking about spending time on the Steelers message board saying you’re an Eagles fan

In his defense they don’t make a James conner jersey in eagles green

Garafolo said Goedert is expected to return after the bye.

Thank you for talking about football.

Long term, do you see Herbig as a potential starter at RG?  I can't really get a read on him playing on the left side.

He actually visits a Steelers message board and is a season ticket holder and thinks Mike Tomlin is a good offensive coach and that Chase Claypool is a JAG?

Immediately after the bye, or sometime afterwards?

I’d also suspect sanders as well if we are being honest.

thats the issue between you and I... "IT"

"It" for you sounds like the NFC East and a 20 something draft pick. I dont want "IT" "IT" puts this team in purgatory year after year.

So the Eagles getting a top 5 pick automatically makes them a Super contender? Right. There’s a reason it’s mostly the same teams picking at the top of the draft every year.

Yeah the part where he has two teams he likes, I will never understand.  I can appreciate good play from other teams but I would never root for another team.  Maybe once the Eagles are out of it during the playoffs, I would pick a certain team for a game, usually teams who are playing our rivals.  But that is about it.

He said he should miss two more games, so immediately after the bye.

True, kinda, I said he'd do better then doug, and yes, thus far Claypool is a JAG, so true

You’re dense.
