Having caught up on the Walking Dead in the past few months

• FTWD is straight up bad writing, producing, acting, etc. The final seasons didn't need to be made, and you can tell by what was on screen that no one cared. Not as bad as the series with the fat girl trying to run around, but not even poor
• NY thing. Maggie showed emotion on screen for the first time ever. Is Lauren Cohan ok? JDM being a lazy Negan is still good watching
• Daryl/Carol.  It was ok to good. Clemence Poesy being there improved things, and while it was girl boss central for no reason, it felt a little different. TBF, Mont St Michel looked a lot better than when I visited as a school kid.
• Richonne was a series of bad accents, the actors being filmed while trying to remember the character. lots of filler and a somewhat ok ending. Didn't need to be made if that was the end product.

Ergo.Not as dead as Star Wars, but equally, not good.

I’m 3 eps in on Daryl/carol season 3 & it’s trash. I enjoyed season 1 but it’s turned into the woke-ing dead like the original.

I've not got there yet. I am finishing off the Negan/Maggie series and it has some really good moments, and then descends into the normal WD ass. They wasted a good cast with some bizarre writing. Lauren Cohan still can't act tho

Andrew Lincoln did an interview over here for a TV series he has out, and mentioned there has been discussions about Rick coming back into the WD, At this point, there is no dead horse to beat. Leave it resting

I watched the last episode of Dead City last night. It wasn't just complete arse, it was weapons grade arse. I have no idea why they are making a 3rd season of it. 2 was more than enough.

JDM occasionally being allowed to be old skool Negan can't save that absolute dumpster fire. At this point, I'd fire Herschel out of the cannon and into Hudson Bay to not have put up with that story. Darlene from the Ozarks gives an ish sometimes, and other times, does not. Dollar Store Joaquin Phoenix's death was a bright spark.
