Hawks had a great defense that won them the SB

Sounds familiar

Yea but they didn't carry us like they did in 2024. Here's to hoping they can carry us again in 2026

Jalen winning MVP

With this pick it appears that this offense will have no clear cut No 1 WR, which is similar to what GB had for the past few seasons. This is most likely how Manion would like his WR group/offense to be.

Doubt it but would be nice

I was thinking the same thing and I'm not sure how to feel about it... I don't follow college at all and I knew that AJ was most likely gone but wr wasn't really on my radar this year... I'm not shocked... I just would have thought if they were taking a wr it would be an outside wr and not slot... Howies track record of drafting wr is not good and outside of Amon Ra not many good wrs come from usc... Please be better than agholor 🤞 in fairness to Agholor he was way better than Reagor

Think about how guys like Purdy, Love, and Stafford are always throwing to schemed open dudes.

Mannion is going to have that kind of offense with these quick WRs plus Goedert and Saquon.

Watch some 2022 Eagles offense. They killed people in the passing game until Siri shut them down way too early in about 8 games.

This will be a better passing offense than that team.

How much the line gets healthy and adds the dangerous run game is TBD.

I was watching some highlights he looks pretty good from what I saw... It was highlights so they're only going to show the good but he looks like he's not afraid of contact and has good hands... Looks like a good kick returner too so I'll be rooting for him...

We are so lucky to have Howie. He isn't perfect and can get too cute at times but can you imagine what another team would look like having to trade their top WR?

He took a less than ideal situation and turned it into Smith, Lemon, Wicks, H Brown, Coop, and Wilson with a good pick or two coming. He may not be done either. We'll see what happens but he is so good.

Another thing I like is he didn't try to force things by finding a Brown clone. They don't grow on trees, but he added a very talented kid. It's going to look different but that's not a bad thing with how the offense looked last year. As good at the top? No, but well rounded and talented. I'm excited.

Howie the master strikes again

I’d rather overpay a bit with picks that probably aren’t starters and get a guy high on your board then sit back and wait to just take whoever falls. It shows conviction to your evaluation and right or wrong you believe in yourself

I would imagine the Cowboys would want to get all they could in a trade with the Eagles. To me, while Jerruh drives a hard bargain, the main thing is Howie preserved the Eagles' 2nd round pick and both of the Eagles' 3rd round picks in the trade. They still have 4 picks in the top 98. If Lemon is an impact player at WR, and with AJ heading to N.E., the hard bargain costing two 4th rounders will have been worth it. Passing game gets more versatile and I expect Hurts will embrace throwing over the middle more. I suspect he's been working on it since the new OC arrived. We'll see.

Absolutely, especially in a weak class. Well said

It will be painful watching the first 22 picks tomorrow but he made the right choice. One of those 4ths could have come in handy moving up but Howie will do a good job.

Yeah I bet the eagles would love the Toledo S or an OL but not sure they’d want to trade the high 3.

Given that they expect picks from AJ next year maybe they would do something

Didn't want WR

Also Howie does not have a great record of WR first round draft picks

Reagor sucked, Smith hit. Agholor was Chip. Who am I forgetting as a 1st round WR that Howie took?

He was likely the BPA at that point.
