April 25Apr 25 Different side of him shown here. Kid that fought through struggle, supportive parents, chip on his shoulder. He seems dedicated and will put in the work. Got that "dawg" in him.
April 25Apr 25 That was tough, but awesome to watch. I think someone in my house is cutting up an onion. 😀😢😢

Brown. Now this may be by design considering our new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion is supposedly bringing the McVay/Shanahan style offense to Philly. Interestingly, I had the Rams taking Lemon with the 13th pick, so I guess it is good value. One guy won't replace Brown. WRs by committee will replace his production and hopefully they won't quit on routes, play twitter games, and read books on the sideline.

April 27Apr 27 As reported by Alexis Chassen:"Also somewhat notable from the video of the Eagles call to Lemon was that as the team was using their first round pick on a wide receiver, WR coach Aaron Moorehead doesn’t even enter the room until mid-conversation. Probably just stepped out for a minute, but the selection definitely appeared like a Mannion pick.”Were they really expecting to draft a WR or an OT?
April 27Apr 27 I'm excited to see what this kid can do. I remain slightly sceptical given it requires the new scheme to be a success and Hurts to run that scheme but I do think this kid can become a real favourite here. He plays tough, he plays physical and that will lend itself to being a very popular figure here. For me this move is one that absolutely supports the new scheme and moves us more towards a "find the open guy" rather than having a true #1 WR. Of course Smitty is the best WR we have and is the #1 but this offense now has the weapons to spread the ball around.

Keep it up, kid. You may just go somewhere in life. 😁😁

It all starts with great hands. This kid is supposed to have that locked down. We'll see. Even Jerry Rice had a lot of drops in year 1 of his career but he turned out to be pretty good.😉
April 28Apr 28 I've warmed up to this while hoping that the Oline is able to stay healthy this yearAt least we'll have some help for Smith with those short passes if the Oline collapses
April 30Apr 30 I'm curious what jersey number Lemon is gonna take with 6 already assigned to Devonta Smith and a lot of the other numbers are already taken or retired.

May 11May 11 I don't understand the doubt about Lemon's skills translating to the NFL. Great hands, catches with his hands, plays larger than his size. He is exactly what they need for the new offense. He isn't big, or blazing fast. But he is efficient, evasive, maneuverable, and measurable.
