This is it . . . time to put & shut up.

Let's see if Wentz can be aggressive without being stoopid.  <g>

That's got to be the key to this yeah. He's got to be aggressive, because that's who he is, but also a lot smarter with the ball.

Has Wentz had enough time to extract his head from his ass? We shall see...

I'm off the wagon.

Carson was a talented rookie prospect.  He didn’t make it.  Time to move on.

I just jumped right off with you. Said the same thing in another thread bud. I'm off. I'm done with Wentz. The guy sucks the big one.

The faster we move on the better, trade him to anyone stupid enough to take him.

Mediocre QB at best. On a great team he can be a good QB. Time to think about what’s next.

This is a shocker.

If we can get a first for him we should take it. If we can get more then my god they'd be so dumb not to take it. Move on. He's not a good QB we can say that without any hesitation at this point.

Apparently not.

Other teams are seeing what we're seeing. We're not getting near a 1st for him at this point.

Right, he simply doesn't have the accuracy to be a consistent winner in the NFL, hopefully Doug realizes this, I mean, if Wentz fails he fails, he'd better cut bait now.

We aren't getting a first for him and that contract the way he's playing right now, he's Kyle Orton on Aaron Rodgers money.

At this point we might have to package a pick with him, just to get rid of him, he's that bad and that overpaid.

Vindicated, I bet there are maybe 3 washers left at this point and they are a Browns game away from jumping ship.

I don't know... Didn't a team give up a first for Rosen? Slightly different circumstances I know but still. Some team out there is a) dumb enough and b) will think they can turn him around.

Miami gave a 2nd for Rosen.

I'd take that. Big time.

I mean all the rookie qbs this season are playing well. Burrow, Herbert, Tua etc. That's bad news as teams probably want to take a chance in the draft. Im not sure anyone would want Wentz.

It’s too bad he started to suck the big one just after we paid him $130M.  The way his contract is structured, we’re basically hitched to him for at least the next 2 years.  If we’d be willing to take a $15M dead money hit to the cap in 2023 we could cut bait then.

From what I gather, Reich is still enamored w/ Wentz.

With Rivers only being on a 1-year contract, I wonder if they could package Carson & Zach and/or Alshon to Indy?

Eagles are just going to need to eat his salary, because every time he steps on the field, his stock and our leverage depreciates...

I mean I just don't get this offence. Any team I watch i find receivers running free for easy catches and the Eagles even playing worst defenses it looks like all the receivers are covered. What is the issue. I know Wentz inaccuracy is part of it but there has to be something else. Are the play designers on the Eagles so bad or the players just don't know to run routes and get open.

too many cooks in the kitchen when it comes to the offensive coaching staff. when they brought in MM in a "consultant" role, it was an immediate red flag.

since 2017 Doug has always had a scapegoat, last year it was Groh, this year it's going to be Taylor

Wentz is mentally, mechanically and fundamentally flawed. I don't think there's anyone they can bring in at this point to straighten him out; Carson is a lost cause at this point.

Carson just doesn’t understand the most basic principle: take what the defense gives you.

When it’s 3rd and 4 and you have a chance to run for a 1st down or make an easy pass for 5 yards he prefers to go 25 yards down the field and make it a much harder play. Just keep the chains moving. Stop worrying about making the big play.

He and Doug are the biggest risk takers in the league so I don’t know if Doug can coach that out of him. He needs to take a page out of the Tom Brady playbook. Brady just dink and dunks down the field and takes what the defense gives. Then when he sees the opportunity to go further down the field he does.

His regression is continuing. His accuracy is eroding before our eyes. His decision making is taking longer and he's choosing wrong more often. Currently he is playing at the level of a barely average and inconsistent starter who is on the down slide. He could begin by not overthrowing everyone.

The play calling isn't helping him one bit either, but the stuff he's responsible for, he is failing at.
