Week 1 can be deceptive but one thing that will be telling today is how well Dickerson plays. There's been a lot of talk of his physical decline and his quality of play won't take weeks or months to learn.

I expect a slow start as Washington is going to know the Eagles want to establish a strong run game and will load the front line. Eagles get behind the sticks and think early on struggle on 3rd down. Defense will need to control game till offense makes adjustments.

DraftExchange mock (still has us picking 23 at this point) had us taking the LSU TE.

But during that segment, they talked about some TE at Georgia that neither of them have even studied yet who is a freak. They basically said, you think you know who Georgia's TEs are and then theres always some TE3 guy who comes out of nowhere and rises to the top.

Someone to keep an eye on. Jaden Reddell.

Which is why I said weeks ago that people will be complaining if we are heading into halftime with a score of 21-0 and the offense has more rushing yards than passing yards.

I think we will see a lot more of Tank this year than we saw last year.

So the greatest Defense in preseason history just lost it's star for 4 weeks. So I guess won't be seeing Garrett in Week 4 but Darnold is still back (Why did I come back from retirement for this). Same with BG, sometimes when you retire on top, you need to stay retired. (I'm happy BG helped last year but looking back, he was better off retiring on top instead of doing that last half of year).

Chatted it up with a cute waitress at the casino last night. Exchanged a "Go Birds” with another Eagles fan as well. Survived two social interactions without imploding. I also lost all my money, but I feel good. Been a while since I could say that.

So naturally, we lose by 30 today. 😂
