Yep, pretty much. Why bother developing advanced passers when most defenses suck?

There's really no surprise why the Georgia Defense was so dominant. When you have defenses that gap the competition like that, they have substantial advantage at that level.

Exactly why I keep saying, dont worry about tanking for the QB pick in the top 5. You arent finding the next generational QB up there anymore. They dont exist. Better off using all of these extra picks on other positions and draft a QB in late round 1, or even round 2 or 3. Find a good game manager who can run an offense on time. Thats all you can hope for. Even those guys are hard to find, but theyll be available later while teams still think they can find the next Luck at the top of round 1. Its a fools errand and I hope Howie realizes it.
