The year they signed Barkley and hired Moore as OC was supposed to be the year that got us out of the Hurts nightmare. He had ridiculous talent around him, and a good OC. If he couldnt make it work that year, he was going to be out of excuses.

Well, he couldnt make it work, but Barkley took over the season and ran us to the super bowl.

Siri lost his chance at getting a good QB in here. But, did get a super bowl on his resume.

And this is precisely why Siri will always deserve more credit than Hurts. Hurts was carried. Siri won one in spite of having Hurts as his QB. Not just the super bowl, but overall team record- Siri did that with Hurts as his QB. No coach has anything more impressive on their resume than that.

I don't think the Eagles have hired what they truly think is going to be their next great HC since Chip Kelly after they get turned down by pretty much all of their initial candidates. Remember how they wanted to hire Josh McDaniels?
