Because Hurts isn't the problem. Eagles future plan should be all about rebuilding the offense around Jalen Hurts for a second run era. Sell Riq and Ojomo before the deadline to add to their picks on 2027 and 2028 and just invest heavily in the draft on offensive line and skill player talent for around Hurts like they did with the defense the last run of years prior to this past draft.

He's a championship winning franchise QB under 30. No brainer. If you need a new HC then so be it but you proceed forward with Jalen Hurts as the QB.

It’s a scheme issue and a coaching issue. Mundt clearly wasn’t told to look for the blitzer. It is because the coaches design these plays with no clue how other are going to be defended

Yeah, the dilemma is that either you make the guy coming in, in his first game, throw in the gun literally every pass....or you lose. Not sure you could script a much worse 1st game situation for McKee, this is why I said it'd need a couple games.
