I'm not sure if you are familiar with the reason for this board's existence since you are new here, but the original EMB hosted by the team itself was shut down in an effort to push fans towards the Reddit platform. However, those of us who were used to the format of the EMB and did not like Reddit's format banded together and contributed to a GoFundMe set up by the awesome @VaBeach_Eagle

This message board is a labor of love created by the fans, for the fans. Merging this board with Reddit or Twitter would defeat the whole purpose.

It would be cool if Dave took some time to interact here, but he'd have to take time away from his job or do it in his off time where he'd take time away from his family. For Dave, the Eagles are a job. Likely a job he loves. But a job. I remember a post that he made, sometime probably 10 or 15 years ago, where he said something along the lines of "I'm not a fan, I'm an employee".

We're pure fans, so we obsess and spend our free time doing this. Dave's living and breathing Eagles football as his profession. When he gets off work, I'm sure he wants to do anything other than Eagles related things.
