We worked hard and made sacrifices when we were younger to pay off my wife's loans, but yes I'm grateful we were able to do that. I'm also not stupid enough to cry about my loans not being forgiven while at the same time complaining about how this country sucks because of socialism. Children and hypocrites do that. If a student loan was underwritten and/or scrutinized like pretty much every other loan or credit line your response may have "gotten" me.
