https://www.kff.org/coronavirus-covid-19/press-release/unvaccinated-adults-are-now-more-than-three-times-as-likely-to-lean-republican-than-democratic/

A new KFF COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor analysis finds that Republicans and Republican leaning independents, who represent 41% of adults, now make up 60% of the adult unvaccinated population across the country and that political partisanship is a stronger predictor of whether someone is vaccinated than any demographic factor measured.

While COVID-19 vaccination rates have risen significantly since the spring across all groups, uptake has been slower among those who are or lean Republican. As a result, the shrinking unvaccinated population has become increasingly Republican over time, with unvaccinated adults now more than three times as likely to lean Republican than Democratic.

  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

Pretty sure @Ipiggles blocked me since I embarrassed his stupid ass.

But he's about to be embarrassed further.

The reason the vax rate is 5 whole percentage points lower among the black population than the white population is...because the black population is younger and has a higher percentage of kids who only recently became eligible. Which is why I posted the stats among adults.

This section address the children directly. Pay attention to what we do know. Second paragraph.

State Data on COVID-19 Vaccinations for Children by Race/Ethnicity

CDC reports that as of November 16, 2021, 4.0% of children under age 12, 57.9% of children ages 12-15, and 64.5% of children ages 16-17 have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. However, CDC does not currently report race/ethnicity data for vaccinated children. As of November 12, 2021, only eight states reported COVID-19 vaccination data by race/ethnicity for children: Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Wisconsin (Figure 4). While these states report race/ethnicity of vaccinated children, they vary in their racial/ethnic categorizations and age groupings, making it challenging to compare vaccination rates across states. Only three states (District of Columbia, Michigan, and North Carolina) reported race/ethnicity data separately for children ages 5-11, the group who most recently became eligible for the vaccine. Connecticut has a reporting category for 2-11 year-olds but has not reported data for this age group to date. Only Michigan and North Carolina had sufficient data to report vaccination rates for children ages 5-11 at this time.

The data from these eight states have mixed findings regarding vaccinations by race/ethnicity among children. Black children had lower vaccination rates than White children in most but not all of the reporting states. Asian children had the highest vaccination rate in most reporting states. Rates for Hispanic children were generally similar or higher than rates for White children in the reporting states. However, overall, it remains challenging to draw strong conclusions about racial equity in COVID-19 vaccinations among children due to the dearth of comprehensive data, inconsistency in reporting, and the lack of disaggregated data for smaller racial/ethnic groups, particularly NHOPI children.

All I know being half White and Half Asian, and being fully vaxxed. I have done my part.

Also I dont recall being asked what my political affiliation was when I was Vaccinated.

he doesn't do well with data

I mean, I'm definitely a conservative...but are we arguing that Republicans are vaxxed at close to the rate Dems are?  I've seen some arguments in here where I want to jump in and defend my party, THIS is not one of them.

I'm not arguing that they are or aren't, I merely presented the facts that there is hesitancy among Minorities (except Asian who are the new whites)

Anecdotal, but I don't know a single unvaxxed democrat... not one. Its about 50/50 amongst my republican friends and family members. Most of my older family members who are republicans are vaccinated.

That's good because if you're going the Dem vs Rep route, the vax rates are drastically different.

My brother's an unvaxxed Dem.  But he also doesn't own a cell phone, a debit/credit card and lives on cash.  He's an OG lunatic.

yes. that's what the first idiot was trying to argue. then some other idiots tried to move the goalposts by bringing up race to deflect.

The best part about the ignore list, it works. 🙂 I have no problem discussing things like adults, but when people take it to personal levels, I just place them on ignore.
