May 30, 20232 yr He's a DINO because he doesn't fall exactly in line with all the party rhetoric. Lmao, politics.
May 30, 20232 yr Manchin, like Sinema, became a bit of an attention hooer, but at least he still believes in elections, which is probably more than we can say about who's probably going to replace him.

Then he kept teasing that he would challenge Biden and run as a third party to swing the election for Trump if he didn't get his way. F that guy. I'd rather have a republican in that seat that the dems already know is an automatic no. Romney is still alive

Manchin as a moderate/centrist Dem is better than whatever Republican people like mike31mt will nominate IMHO. Susan Collins votes with Biden more than Manchin does, so I'm not sure how much that's worth.

What is all of this amazing legislation he held up? Can you tell me about it?

I was first registered as a Democrat actually. In fact my grandpa--a former trooper/sheriff/US marshall--actually helped Manchin get elected governor and knew his father, A James Machin, a fellow italian from a town away. Im not a "Republican person" I just don't support the party that abandoned my state for insanity

Those numbers are hollow. Sinema and Manchin throw temper tantrums and refuse to vote for Biden's bills until the get everything they want in them. So yeah once that bill has all of their wishlists included, they vote for it. Manchin also votes with republicans nearly 40% of the time.

Your argument makes no sense. Its almost like you'd prefer a productive Congress regardless of whether theyre producing good legislation or not--as long as theyre drafting and signing bills its a good thing. I dont agree with that

I dont agree with that Manchin is trying to use his status in the senate to run for president so he can help Trump get re-elected. Once he's out, he becomes irrelevant. Jim justice just becomes another faceless republican who will vote how McConnel tells him to vote. Ideally, the democrats should primary him like the republicans do.

If Manchin runs, it'll be to win for himself, not to hand off to Trump. Why would Manchin do that?? What is his motive there? Manchin would actually be a decent POTUS. Plus hes italian and from West Virginia.

He'd have no chance of winning.

The actions he has taken arent for Trump's benefit, theyre to appease his constituents.
