Strategically, I think Democrats should ask Biden privately to step aside so a younger, more vibrant candidate can be the nominee in November, then attack Trump relentlessly for his equally obvious cognitive decline and impairment. No one would question if he cited a desire to retire. I wasn’t terribly concerned about him saying Mexico instead of Egypt; I was more concerned with how slowly he was speaking and expressing thoughts. The difference in the two parties is, Democrats can do that because they have a sane, rational leader of their party. The Republicans are closer to a cult than a political party and someone will have to "off” Trump to get rid of him.

This is all fashioned to make Biden look like the good guy, he still willfully committed the crime. And even after admitting to this crime, they found even more documents that Biden didn't disclose. You're trying to parse this out and split hairs because you want to believe Biden is innocent of what we all know he's guilty of.
