Biden took documents that he should not have had and kept them for 6 or 7 years stored in a ripped cardboard box sitting on his garage floor. Does anyone know what he did with those for the entire time he had them? I guess it's fine for me to go on a robbery spree as long as I cooperate if they start asking questions. If I'm in NY, California, etc. I'm not worried anyway because I'll just be let go afterwards but in most normal states it could be a problem for me, unless I cooperate.

But as everyone in the entire world knows, Trump didn't return them when requested and he didn't cooperate. He made the decision, F them, they are my records and I'm not giving them back. He then displayed top secret documents to those without a clearance, he hid documents from his own lawyers even after they signed an Affidavit to the FBI that they had turned over all the documents. Then the FBI got a tip from someone in Mar a Lago informing them that there were more documents and thus a Search Warrant was issued where more documents have been seized. Trump then tried to have the video tapes erased. Trump tried to have the video room flooded out. Trying to destroy evidence looks pretty bad. Now it comes out Trump had secret rooms that were not searched during the search warrant. Even after all this Trump may still be in possession of top secret materials that he has not returned. Trying equate Biden with Trump ignores pretty much the entire case against Trump and why he was charged in the first place.

The law literally states someone has to willfully and knowingly remove them. Hur's document makes it clear they would have never been able to prove there he knowingly removed them, hence it was not criminal. Trump knew exactly what he had, knew it when he took them, was told by the archives they knew he had them, refused to return them for over a year, lied when saying he had given them everything, and ultimately it took a raid on Mar-a-Lago where classified material was stored in unsecured locations on a property in ways that may well have been accessible to customers of said resort. The more you try to make these situations seem the same, the more you come off like an obstinate, drooling old fool.
