Starfield apparently blows donkey balls so I'm probably not gonna even bother with that, I played that avatar game for a few hours the weekend it released and haven't touched it since, STALKER 2 is supposed to release later this year but I bet it slips into Q1 '25, so besides that, what else is even out there worth sinking any time into? Frostpunk 2 whenever it comes out but RTS games usually don't need much horsepower to max out.

I didn't need real powerful PC for either of those things, but I've been playing a lot more lately and my old PC was showing its age. When I upgrade electronics I trend towards overkill because I hate being dissapointed by something brand new. Edit Madden is on Gamepass now, I haven't played any sports games in years but started playing that a bit.

And there are some mods for extreme realism that will make even a 4090 cook.

Oh for sure, I loved that game, played every single main quest and side quest to completion. Was hoping for more than just a single DLC, but I guess it's better than nothing.

It got a ton of hate at launch because of how broken it was on consoles, but it was just fine for me on PC and I finished it within a month from when it released which is faster than I've finished any game in probably a decade. I played it almost every night for a solid 2 or 3 weeks, I liked it that much.

The Legacy Virus from the animated series was also partially a reference to AIDS which was dominating the news cycle at the time and assumed by many to only afflict gay men prior to Magic Johnson's announcement. Hell, look at this "fan letter" in 1968 as a response to inclusive messaging of The Silver Surfer comics. If this sort of thing bothers you, maybe you were never intended to appreciate the actual purpose of the X-Men dating back to its inception.
