  • While I disagree with Biden trying to save these idiots from themselves, it just proves what a wonderful human being he is. IMO we should encourage Trumpbots to all give each other Covid so they die o

"The waiver has been regularly renewed since 2018, continuing a practice from the prior administration,” a State Department spokesperson said in response to questions submitted by Iran International. "Since 2018, the waiver has remained necessary as Iraq weans itself off Iranian energy imports, which cannot happen overnight.”

"The waivers were rescinded by the United States in 2019 and 2020 under former President Donald Trump, who pulled out of the nuclear agreement."

it's a completely different waiver.

the waiver that Trump rescinded disallowed access to Iran nuclear power sites by European, Russian, and Chinese companies. the goal of that waiver as part of the 2015 nuclear deal was to have outside companies with people on the ground being more aware of what was going on at Iranian nuclear sites, lessening the risk of nuclear weapon development.

the waivers that Biden just renewed relate to Iraq being able to pay for electricity from Iran through Euros.

It said as much in the line right before the quote Procus pasted.

Quote

The waivers had allowed Russian, Chinese and European companies to carry out non-proliferation work to effectively make it harder for Iranian nuclear sites to be used for weapons development. The waivers were rescinded by the United States in 2019 and 2020 under former President Donald Trump, who pulled out of the nuclear agreement.

Demented liar had to edit it out to post it.

like i keep saying, @Procusdoes all of the heavy lifting when it comes to proving what she is.

It doesn't matter where the money is coming from if it winds up under the control of the mullahs.

Typical progressive board member:

"Uh duh, these sanctions are for Iraqi electricity payments - so they're okay."

I'm confused the waiver is for Iraq not Iran.

The waiver allows Iran to receive money for provision of electricity.  The purpose of sanctions is to squeeze Iran and not give that regime access to money.

Yes, and...

So, it's not good practice to call someone a dipsh!t with a sentence that doesn't make sense?  It happens a lot around here, I think people just get so excited to try to make someone look bad that they just make themselves look like the dipsh!t.  He or she self-owned while trying to say someone else was self-owning, classic.

Why do Americans, especially Americans with kids, act like they're entitled to eating out? And that bill doesn't even really seem that bad.

The only thing that outstrips Americans' lack of taste is their extreme laziness. I am very selective in what I order for takeout, and when I do, I usually pick it up on my own because I get it to my house when it's still hot. The morons don't even realize that they ARE paying slightly more for delivery, even when they use coupons for delivery services.

Not necessarily. That thing will lose a lot by getting steamed in the container within 2-3 minutes. If I pick up an order of fries, I immediately open the container to let the steam out and keep the fries crispy on the ride home.

Apparently Trump was ok with it.

Weird that you only had an issue with it when some tweeterbait post told you to.

Why doesn’t MAGA see Iran and Russia in the same light?
