Selfishly, I will have him back to enjoy whatever time we have left." He could just simply be acknowledging that they are both elderly today. It doesn't necessarily mean Joe is at the very end.
July 23, 20241 yr I saw some internet chatter on this earlier. Here's an article. https://www.dossier.today/p/exclusive-president-biden-suffered Exclusive: President Biden suffered an undisclosed medical emergency during his time in Las Vegas, police sources say

He worked in the Senate for a while and was a writer/producer for The West Wing, so he not only knows the battle lines and how the game is played on Washington, but also how to articulate, contextualize, and dramatize current events. I always thoroughly enjoy his perspective.

But yeah, I thought it was a good piece and I liked the personal connections he spoke about.

Sounded worse, but was actually way more clear/concise in his call with Kamala than most times we've seen him at the podium lately.

I don't think that's what happened, but would be hilarious if he did.

But I do believe he was going to decide, one way or the other, in the period after RNC before DNC.

And cutting it too close would risk not having enough time for Harris to build support as the presumptive nominee.

Looks like he could've done it on July 30th and still had plenty of time to build her support. She works fast.

Gotta admit, I was shocked at how fast everyone rallied behind her. I was half expecting the Dems to F that up far worse than the way it turned out after they pushed Uncle Joe down the stairs.
July 25, 20241 yr He didn't go into depth on what led him to the decision but he did mention that he needed to unite his own party. Hopefully it was good enough to pull everyone together to cast their ballot for Harris. Regardless of whether you agreed with his record or not, it's obvious he's a good, decent man, who genuinely wants what's best for this country. Something you'll never be able to say about his opponent.
