For many, even the sane won't accept what is happening, or they think they can fix it, and you can't. I really and truly hope none of you have to care for a parent or relative with this disease. It is the absolute worst. Trust me. Thank you, Joe for doing the right thing. I believe he can continue his term, but there was no way he would survive another. He has recently shown signs of further decline.

I'm seeing chatter on the Internet that he had a medical emergency in Vegas and was transported back east for emergency medical care. The stress of all of this may have done him in physically.
