Yeah my son last year was watching some show on Netflix or Disney that was about teen camp counselors or something and she was in it. But currently she's 28 and Sam is 26. Also, Ralph Macchio is 62 and William Zabka is 58. Wow.

July 24, 20241 yr I just want to make sure I’m not missing something here. Spoiler Maybe I’m overthinking it, and this is definitely not that type of show. 😂 We’ve now got Kreese, who is currently an escaped convict, despite being framed. He is flying back and forth from South Korea to California, as we saw him meet with Tory in a parking garage. Then episode 5 ends with him at the Sucky Tampon in Barcelona, which is televised worldwide for all of law enforcement to see, yet he can’t be caught. I love this show.

People change sides from episode to episode. The show is supposed to be a soap opera and not taken too seriously, but some of the stuff is like WTF Spoiler Tori changed her motivations really, really fast. Her Mom died (you know that's going to be Kreese responsible), all her friends and mentors at Miyagi-Do who have been there for her for several seasons, showed so much care and concern for her they didn't want her to fight they wanted to comfort her...so she left and joined Kreese immediately. After all the stuff they did to her. The games to choose the final members were dumb. Run to the woods and grab a flag. They made it seem like they'd have to fight and scrap. One guy crapped his pants and the other 2 fought briefly. It's also not believable that the nerdy kid would beat Hawk, who is one of their best people. Johnny not learning his lesson is getting old. He had good development in the beginning. It would make more sense for the show at this point if he were more mature. Bring the edge to Miyagi-Do but not do over the top stupid things to ruin things. Also didn't need some dark past of Miyagi, just leave that alone.

I agree about your other points as well. I still enjoy the show but I'm also glad this is the last season. It's irritating that they have split the next 10 episodes up. November is the next 5 and then 2025 the last 5. Dumb.
July 25, 20241 yr It's a fun show to drink, laugh at and enjoy. Sometimes it's a little too B movie but it's fun.
July 25, 20241 yr We have done the first 3 episodes. Not so in to this season. Its all just a little too weird now. I was disappointed this would be the final season, but it does appear that maybe it is time.

August 10, 20241 yr Can't even hate watch this season. if Mouser's not preggo, her thighs are. They've painted up List to look like an insecure 15 year old; only missing the full on marching band uniform and braces (swear I can see the acne growing everytime they cut to her). Kreece is now looking exactly like a living version Tom Segura's view of Steven Segal.
November 20, 20241 yr B movie shlock, ridiculous soap opera drama, bad choreography, way too many Rocky references, the constant flip-flop of alliances, the Miyagi backstory no one asked for... ...but as @BFit said in the other thread, we're invested now. Plus episode 10 was unhinged, so there's that.
November 24, 20241 yr That last 15 minutes was ridiculous. Watching it before this, it’s always kind of been silly with the rivalries and fights. That last 15 minutes went over the top with how ridiculous it was. I was loving every minute of it, understanding how outlandish it all is. I thought this was the last episode, so I was confused when they went to the Cobra image.
November 25, 20241 yr I especially loved how during the melee, Daniel saw Johnny getting worked over by Ah Som, and rushed over to save him, then, after Ah Som beats on both of them a little bit, Johnny bolts and leaves Daniel alone.
November 25, 20241 yr The only thing missing from episode 10 was Daniel’s bike. It would have been epic to have him finding and taking a blue bmx bike instead of a uber to the mountain top to track myagi’s past.

December 13, 20241 yr I don't mind the B movie vibes and some of the ridiculous drama. But they veered way off from Johnny rebuilding his life and reclaiming Cobra Kai as a respectable dojo, and the reversal of him being the one training bullies to fight back, and his growth. He and Daniel going back and forth every other episode is annoying. I'd actually rather Daniel be a cameo or small part now and then. Just have him teach Johnny some mindfulness and defensive techniques, and put up some money but let Johnny run things.
February 15, 2025Feb 15 The second half of season 6 was beautifully done! Predictable and over the top but hit all the right buttons from a nostalgia standpoint and how the individual characters story arcs all ended.
February 15, 2025Feb 15 Johnny having the orchestra play You Take My Breath Away during the wedding was a nice touch.
