Skipping breakfast is just about the worst thing you can do if you want to be healthy AND workout regularly. A high protein breakfast is great fuel for training.

Funny that because I do it 3-4 times a week and i manage to train consistently and train hard. I fuel my body before I train.

I do as well, with almond butter and jam. Check these out:

I still do eggs and oats every day for breakfast.

My biggest issue is that I have no appetite in the morning until around 10 am (when I get up at around 5:30 am).  I usually make a bichin protein shake and do everything in my power to choke it down (kale, vanilla ON protein, frozen fruits and veggies, flaxseed, etc).  The thought of eating a big egg breakfast every morning makes me nauseous, and I probably wouldn't get past 2 bites.

**However, I should probably stop getting blind drunk all the time.  I don't think that helps my morning appetite either.  👀

I never eat breakfast. I wake at 4 and my first meal is usually around 9, and usually consists of whatever I had for dinner the night before.

I think that qualifies as breakfast.

I obviously meant traditional breakfast foods and eating soon after waking. The first meal of the day is technically always breakfast. Context clues man, context clues

Not necessarily true. I have worked out after fasting for 36 hours and strength didn't drop, but is mental at some point.

I would recommend collagen before a workout with vitamin c because it increases the absorption of the collagen. Collagen naturally decreases with age and helps with pretty much everything.

Vitamin C-enriched gelatin supplementation before intermittent activity augments collagen synthesis

I get my collagen from Great Lakes in the 8lb bag and lasts me almost a year .

I 100 percent get a better workout on an empty stomach. I sip an amino acid supplement before and during my workout and that's it.

Great job!!!

I can't get motivated to eat right for some reason. Still riding my bike and walking for exercise but eating all the wrong stuff at all the wrong times.

The wrong foods just taste so right.

under 180 what are you like viaks' height?

There is a gym in our building that is leased out. The trainer offers a class once a week to employees.  It's a no brainer for me to take this class, especially as it's during work which means I'm basically getting paid to exercise!  Sweet right?  It's circuit training and some stations are harder than others, but since he's a trainer and I'm old modifications are made.  Can't afford to break anything in my fragile state.  Feeling good, yesterday was week 3!  I almost passed out on week 1.  Glad to get this perk back since covid.

25 minutes in the sauna is equivalent to 25 minutes on a stationary bike and temp in the sauna was 200F. Data is from my Whoop

The blood pressure and heart rate during sauna bath correspond to cardiac responses during submaximal dynamic exercise

My cholesterol went up at 306. Given some medication may have to take the rest of my life!

Bumming right now, friends.  I've had a swollen area on the top of my foot for a couple of years, now.  Occasional pain and burning, but nothing debilitating.  Hasn't gotten any worse but, with time off from running, it didn't get any better, either, so I've taken the f it approach.  The internet seemed to diagnose it as a neuroma, and I was cool with that.  Wife noticed it about a month back and started telling me to get it looked at.  Had an ingrown toenail pop up a couple of weeks ago and, when I went in for that, I mentioned the affected area of the foot, and they referred me to a Podiatrist who I went to see this morning.  After looking at X-Rays, he doesn't think it's neuroma, he thinks it's arthritis in one of my toe joints, something called Freiberg's disease, that's going to require surgery.  An MRI will determine of the surgery will be to save any existing cartilage, or if they're going to have to replace the entire joint.  Either way, sounds like it's going to be an extended break from running.  I've lived a charmed, relatively healthy life, never needed surgery, had never been sedated, until I turned 50.  They day I turned 50, literally on my 50th birthday, that all changed.  Enjoy your youth kids.

Sorry bro, but you can get a bike. Much less strain on everything. Which is why I switched last year. Not as quite as good of a cardio workout but a much better leg work out.

Had one, but loaned it to the MIL when she had knee replacement surgery a while back.  I'm going to have to see if she's still using it.
