Odd Sounds like you used lower back out of the hole instead of glutes or allowed chest to cave a bit which made you over compensate. My tips for squats to people are Screw your feet into the ground, push your elbows forward to keep chest up, and focus on pushing knees out on the way back up.

Guess there’s not a direct correlation between pain and swelling? I was able to do the alphabet with the foot today, with just slight discomfort. Able to go up and down stairs with no problem. obviously trying to minimize unnecessary movements and follow RICE. But, was happy to see the pain being reduced. That first day was rough going up and down stairs.

Part of my problem is that although I'm only 6ft tall I have longer legs so it's a long way down and a long way back up. But yeah I think I either used my lower back or my chest caved a little. Thank you for the tips though bud. When I can get back to it I'll remember those tips.

If older then don't worry about squatting ass to grass. Do a goblet squat with a kettlebell or dumbbell. Is a study somewhere that says partial squats are better for vertical and 40 time.

Just be healthy then I would drop back squats for Goblet squats or Bulgarian Split Squats. I think Bulgarian are the best leg exercise

Better yet dont do back squats stick to front squats or thrusters at lighter weights

February 23, 20224 yr Got to get umbilical hernia surgery on Friday so this stinks . I took the month of January off, one day did the ab roller a few weeks ago, and felt something right away. Anyone have any tips for it. I will be downing collagen and protein to, as well bought the peptide Bpc157 to see if that helps with recovery.
March 28, 20224 yr All you Postman Patties should just watch this if you want to lose a stone or two. I shed about 4 grams each time. Cheers.
March 30, 20224 yr SMFH at people at the gym who are walking on the treadmill at like 2 mph, wearing jeans, with sun glasses on their head, and talking on the phone. Just leave already!!!

May 12, 20223 yr Ran a few miles earlier on a fairly popular greenway. A couple miles in it occurred to me that there was a 2 foot long copper head on the path about 10 feet in front of me. Quickly decided to smoothly veer around around it instead of trying to stop and, thankfully, it didn't strike. There was a couple that I'd just passed (she had a nice ass in her spandex) about 25 yards behind me so I turned around and alert them to the snake, then I alerted another couple coming towards me a couple hundred yards further down the path. A third couple coming towards me another couple hundred yards ahead I didn't say anything to. Was that wrong? I figured that surely the snake would be gone by then, but maybe it wasn't and one of them got bitten and doctors are now fighting to save their leg. I'll never know so who cares? Anyway, how long does one have the responsibility to alert others to the presence of a poisonous snake on the path ahead of them?
