Carson himself said he doesn't pay attention to criticism

You're smart enough to see through that.

if they can't handle a boo or social media post that they suck when they have a bad game, they're in the wrong career.  They brag and dance and rant on social media themselves when they do well.  They can dish it out but can't take it?  Pssshhh.  Fans cheer the good, boo the bad it's as simple as that.  Even many players and coaches say they would boo too, they understand they're not playing well.  Put on your big boy pants and go play better.  People are paying money to watch them.  I'm not talking about being an a-hole, I'm talking about simply acknowledging bad play.  When Wentz has a terrible game with turnovers and bad throws and the team loses, fans are going to boo or be critical.  That's life.

Yeah, that's lovely tough talk.

Until you're willing to take responsibility for the contributions you can make, you're just a part of the problem.

Fans like you don't deserve a winning team.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

Yeah. I'm too mean to the poor little wanna-be GMs with toxic attitudes.

Nah you just talk utter nonsense. You think you're above everyone. You think that you can sit above every with their opinions and what we all think and play the "aren't I better than you card".

What I actually think is that you and I are about at the same level, not above each other. That's humiliating to you because you want to believe you know how to run an NFL team, but it's not me thinking I'm better than you.

I'm not part of the culture of toxic femininity characteristic of a very vocal minority of fans. You are, but that's your choice, not something inherent to your character.

This guy thinks the fans are to blame for Reid and McNabb not winning a Super Bowl here.  I mean.

I don't think I know how do run an NFL team. I have a view on what is good with the team and what is bad with the team. Some of that will be right, a lot of that I'm sure will be wrong. It's an opinion, we are all entitled to them and a forum is a place to discuss those opinions.

Did you get TO and McNabb into marriage counselling so they could get along ?? If not, it is your fault.

I should've stopped Donnie from getting drunk the night before so he wouldn't puke on the field.  My bad.  We just need to be supportive of Donovan's terrible, irresponsible decision so we're not disloyal.

We all do, but people are so extremist they do not hear the other side.  For example

The last 4 games Wentz started, the Eagles had a 25:75 run pass ratio, called 6 designed rollouts, and ran the flanker screen to Greg Ward instead of Reagor.  They did the opposite of that with Jalen Hurts.  In your eye that means Carson Wentz sucks, I see that as a game plan and play calling issue.

Well if someone says they can out drink you, gotta show em.  Did you puke the next day ??

I just think... Look yes there needs to be a balance but I'm not even sure what we are suggesting? I mean is Doug trying to sabotage Wentz?

I am not saying that at all.  But having a 25:75 run pass ratio is not what I would call helping him.

Do you agree that Carson is a better QB on the move and outside the pocket ??

The difference is they CAN’T run the ball as much with Wentz. As soon as they start having success, the defense starts to load the box, daring Wentz to beat them through the air. And he hasn’t been able to do it.

Not to mention putting them in a hole early with the constant 3 and outs and turnovers, which also reduces how much they can run the ball.

Dude, he's a rookie, how can he be a "lifetime backup"?

NO PLAYER on this team should be just given a starting job because of what they've done in the past, how much they are paid, where they were drafted, etc.  We need to play the guy that gives us the best chance to win.  Clearly, that's Jalen Hurts right now.

That was also his first start.  No rookie QB lights it up in the air during their first start.  The fact that our veteran, franchise QB was putting up pretty similar numbers should be very troubling.

Dude, do you know who I am

Cam Newton - 24/37, 422 yards, 2 TD

Andrew Luck - 23/45, 309 yards, 1 TD

Geno Smith - 24/38, 256 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT; 6 rush, 47 yards

Carson Wentz - 22/37, 278 yards, 2 TD

Deshone Kizer - 20/30, 222 yards, 1 TD

Robert Griffin - 19/26, 320 yards, 2 TD

I am sure I could go on and on, but I think I have made my point.

Doug admitted that with the backup, you call more runs and rollouts and keep things simple for him.  When asked why he doesn't do that for Wentz when struggling, he said something along the lines of that's how it is in the NFL.

Reid used to do the same thing.  We'd be screaming for more runs and plays that played to the starting QB strengths.  As soon as a backup came in, he would do that and we'd complain that if he did that for the starter, the starter would be better off.

Instead, Doug went 25:75 run pass over Carson's last 4 games, and called 6 designed roll out plays.

I must have seen 6 designed roll outs in the first half of the last Rams game.

But why do we think that Doug would call plays outside the pocket with Hurts but not with Carson?

That has been the burning question.  He was asked about it 3 weeks in a row, his response " I gotta do a better job of getting him on the perimeter "

And this correlates to future success how? If anything it shows that such a singular performance doesn't correlate to long term success.

I was replying to this statement

No rookie QB lights it up in the air during their first start

He was defending Jalen Hurts passing numbers with that statement, which is obviously false, and why @EricAllenPick6 has not responded.
