I'm pretty sure his stats after the injury was pretty good.

Yup. He started that game slow, but AFTER the injury occurred, his numbers were damn good. Which leads me to possibly believe that he could have played last week. But, the Eagles, being the cautious team/org that they are, didn’t want him to play. Nothing wrong with that decision.

If he is cleared to play this week, I hope he will be out there. As long as the injury cannot get any worse, let him play. Get a 3 TD lead and then pull him.

100% he could play. I had a an ac injury a few years ago. And no way in hell anyone would be able to throw for a few weeks. He has an sc injury which doesn't affect his throws. With that said I wouldn't be surprised if he is shelved till playoffs. Minshew showed enough last week to prove he can get the job done if need be.

An SC is also more vulnerable to reinjury if it isn’t healed and he gets hit again.  Minshew Mania, week 2.

Injury or re-injury doesn't stop him from throwing. Also that injury which I'm assuming is a grade 1 since they said it wasn't that bad, only takes 1-2 weeks to fully heal. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Jalen out there Sunday.

If they lose to NO he will be playing 100% against NYg. In fact, if he truly is not gonna play vs NO, they must give him at least 1 series against NYG assuming we beat NO. Otherwise he's playing against NYG.

Looks like Hurts is resting again, gotta say I am legit nervous about our chances at the #1 seed.

Also, even if we get the #1 seed, Hurts will have gone without meaningful football for over 5 weeks.

Not too worried about Hurts getting rusty, more worried about how resting Hurts is gonna look disrespectful from the Saints point of view. They are going to be fired up for this game.

They aren’t resting him, he is injured.

Minshew can beat the Saints.

More than Hurts getting rusty, or looking disrespectful(?), I am more worried he can further damage an already injured shoulder if he plays.

Minshew should play the final 2 regular season games. The Eagles can win with Minshew at QB. They only need to find one win.

I imagine he probably would have spent extra time early in the season and offseason looking at these teams...late season schedule, best chance of playing...

He did individual drills before the media left.  No report on if he actually practiced yet.
