To be fair, you couldn't leave your condo due to the constant blizzards and multiple feet of snow.

It's a miracle I got out at all!!!!!

 

Honestly, that did kind of happen to me back in 2006 during a rare blizzard in the area.  I was in Boulder working on a project.  I was also in my late 20s and did NOT check the weather.  Well, apparently they were warning everyone to GTFO and I missed it.  (One of my coworkers asked "Did you get your flight moved" and I was like "What do you mean" :blush: ).  Anyway, there were no flights available and I was one of 5 guests stuck in the hotel with the hotel staff.  We couldn't get anywhere for several days (plows didn't get to our hotel until 3 or 4 days later) so I would have to horde food from the breakfast buffet to last me the day.  Fun times.

I've heard Denver is like a winter apocalyptic wasteland 11.5 months out of the year - glad you made it out safe.
