I'd be ok if they took Wilson assuming the unlikely event he fell to 6th - no interest in trading up.  Aside from that, I agree that we should be building the rest of the team and look to QB as the final piece so we can either take advantage of a low cap charge or make a Brady-TB type move.

Seriously, you are talking about building this year's Browns (and that is fine).  The packed talent around an average QB and it almost got them through.  If OBJ stays healthy, who knows how far they go.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

His senior bowl vid is what caught my attention. Coming from a small school like UNI you hear the lack of competition thing. He looked tremendous at the SB practices. Not to bad for a rail I guess 😂

Mac Jones may go top 10 by all reports I’m seeing. He could be 3rd QB off the board. If Daniel Jones can go 6, better yet Trubisky 2, Jones can go pretty high.

No chance in hell. Not happening.

This is good for those of us on #TeamTradeDown

He’s plenty strong. That’s he’s best trait. He was dominate at the senior bowl. Is he a finished product? no of course not but he is big strong athletic and with some technique polishing could be a great OT of the future.

He gets rocked by dL who will be selling insurance for a living , a couple  years away at best

Weight lifting strength does not mean functional strength.

Impressive, but that's not a legal bench.

Yeah I know despite him benching 500LBs he needs to add strength 🙄

Was he perfect? No. They are called sleepers cause they off the radar guys who need some work. He’s not a day starter but after some coaching he could be a very good OT of the future.

Now Admit you don’t know what your talking about and move on.

@Original Sin

You were saying Brown needs to get much stronger? He benched 500LBs 😂 how much more stronger can he get? I don’t think you seen him play are know much about the kid.

Bench pressing and game strength not the same , heck ,rondale Moore is 5’9 180 , and benches over 400 and squats 600, just watch the video you are referencing, he gets knocked back more than a cpl times , against inferior talent

he won’t be starting in the nfl for at least a cpl years , if at all.. yet you keep tossing the word great around , smh

Watch his senior bowl practice. Then tell me he needs to add "much more strength”

Who knows at this point? I mean it would take just one team being willing and there's at least 6 teams that seem to be in the market for a QB.  How much better was Daniel Jones as a prospect?

That’s technique which I said he needs work on. His foot work is sloppy at times. But he was dominant at senior bowl which has much better talent and showed he could play. Like I said sleeper not Super star ready to go top ten pick.

@4for4EaglesNest I honestly hope this happens just so you get incredibly pissed.

I’m not arguing about that specific player. I know nothing of him. Just saying there are players with great weight room strength that didn’t play with strength for various reasons.

Versus Mac Jones?  I'd say Mac is a much better prospect.  His own WR said he's much better than Tua.  If he had been more than a 1 year starter, he'd be a consensus top 5 guy.

I agree.  There is a reason one of them was a top pick and the other was 3rd (or more likely later) draft grade.  I just know that if we are stuck with him, we better put tons of talent around him to cover for his issues.

I thought maybe we would draft him in round 2.

I thought I'd be upset at trading up for Justin Fields.

Selecting Mac Jones at #6 is much, much, much worse.

I get that  But he said he needs to "add” much more strength. Dude benched 500. How much Strength can he add? He benches 420 as a workout lol.

Again maximum chaos is always my goal on draft night.

If the Eagles draft Mac freaking Jones at 6 I’ll quit.

I'd take Mac over Fields straight up.  I also wouldn't want either at 6...
