Again maximum chaos is always my goal on draft night.

I need to screenshot all these people saying no way he’s getting drafted high. From everything I’ve seen he’s the prototypical NFL QB who is good at everything but not great at anything.

Guy on ESPN said he was a cross between Matt Ryan and Jimmy G if you’re looking for a comparison.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The CBS mocks are fun in that they post a new wildly different mock with huge variations like every freaking day.

So he will be an Overpaid choke artist???

If the Eagles draft Mac freaking Jones at 6 I’ll quit.

Certainly, they'd trade down if he is their choice to lead the team.

Any mortgage loan experts here?

Any downside from refinancing a home from 4% to 3% when you are only 2 years into the loan and do not plan on being in the house for more than another 5 years?  We are just riding the real estate wave here in NC.  USAA is able to drop my rate by 1% with NO POINTS!  I don't see any negative....

You'd be surprised how many niche experts the boards have in various areas.  @TEW should be a good bet for anything finance.

Not sure if there are any Mcnabb comps in this draft.

You will have to pay new closing costs.  It's unlikely you're going to recoup that in lower interest payments if you're only planning to be there for a few more years.

You take a risk that someone takes him before you if you move back or if you move back leapfrogs you to get him. Not sure they take that risk. I wouldn’t take jones at 6 however i didn’t think the giants would take Daniel jones at 6 saying the same thing you are now about Mac jones and then they did it.

That's what everyone thought about the Giants and Daniel Jones.  Consider me concerned.

Just a couple notes from senior bowl on the great Spencer Brown

I was extremely high on Spencer Brown heading into Senior Bowl week but, unfortunately, the Northern Iowa product did not live up to expectations. The gargantuan tackle looked rusty and sloppy. There are positive athletic traits and a nasty streak that teams will want to work with, but Brown struggled mightily at times throughout the week. During the game, Brown got beat a handful of times when he was caught reaching or failed to redirect and anchor against opposing linemen. Brown was always seen as a prospect, but the Senior Bowl showed that he may be farther away from starting than some thought.

Spencer Brown struggles throughout the Senior Bowl practices

Just as easy as it is for a small-school prospect to climb the ranks with a good week in Mobile, they can also see negative marks with a poor week. Offensive Tackle Spencer Brown out of Northern Iowa has struggled to adjust to the game-speed of the talented edge rushers. Both Carlos Basham Jr. (Wake Forest) and Quincy Roche (Miami) had their way on reps through the days of practice. Brown is still an intriguing prospect with an incredible build at 6-foot-8 and 314-pounds, but this week has certainly not raised his draft stock.

They've posted enough that, by now, one of them better be pick for pick perfect.

Someone posted this before - this is a great breakdown of Mac Jones

The Eagles have always valued athleticism at QB for starters under Lurie: McNabb, Vick, Wentz, Hurts. Even Kolb could move. Foles is an outlier as a later-round pick.

Man, the Bears...

That's the risk, for sure.  The one thing that I am fairly confident about is that Jalen Hurts isn't going to get this team over the top into the playoffs and that puts QB into play for me.  I'd have more confidence in going another direction with that position.  I don't care about the 4 games BS either.  Hurts had plenty of years and quality coaching to develop and it didn't happen, thus his draft grade.

I don't think they go QB, but I'm not going to be disappointed either.

So I just refinanced from 4% to 2.5% and I've been here just over a year and not planning to stay more than 5.  It brought monthly down over $150  so you can pocket more short term and there were some other benefits as well.  I'm not an expert but it made 100% sense to me.

I predicted Alex Smith would be Wentz’s backup here after he was done in Washington. Not so much. I can’t imagine he gets a starting opportunity so I’m assuming he’ll want to be a backup on a good team.

Colts and Bucs are two teams that come to mind.

The Arrow head Addict 😂

That’s your source? 😂 😂 😂

Well for every Arrow head addict there’s a Gazelle: UNI's Elerson Smith, Spencer Brown making impression at Senior Bowl

Two UNI All-Americans — defensive end Elerson G. Smith and offensive lineman Spencer Brown — have quickly made an impression on the reporters and analysts covering the week’s practices at Hancock Whitney Stadium.

"When you’re watching two of your football players amongst the best in college football, lining up against the best in college football, that’s really neat,” Farley said. "But, even more so, they’re winning, too. I got to watch some drills and what they show on TV and some of the things on Twitter, and they’re up against the best right now — the names that we’ve all been reading about in college football — and they’re not just holding their own they’re winning the one-on-one battles and making a name for themselves.”

Farley said he’s heard second- to fifth-round NFL Draft projections for Smith and Brown. He also acknowledged the benefit of having two Senior Bowl participants when it comes to recruiting.

Mac Jones is not the type of QB Eagles go after historically. It would make no sense to take him at #6

Could be an overcorrection by the eagles

Or could be creating interest in pick 6. I've seen Jones Mocked to Panthers at 8 and to the Patriots at 15 - I don't know if there is any real interest from either in taking Mac Jones that high but the mocks are predicated on Jones being available at their respective picks. If they believe the Eagles might take him maybe they pony up for him.

We can watch and see , I’m on record  he will not be starting anytime soon . His height works against him , with leverage and balance, his base needs lots of work, and he reach blocks too often . The speed rushers in the nfl will have him off balance regularly

that is all I have to say about this topic

So we can count on it at 6

Here is my just for @4for4EaglesNest mock draft
