Not the point.  They went from Gamble, to Lynch, a football guy.  And the #1 defense you use, they went to a Superbowl with Lynch as GM.

And lost.  And lost 10 games 3 of 4 years. Like I asked, would you accept that from Howie the next four years? That's a "football guy" standard?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Nothing wrong with that. Why is Maryland so slow?

PA is still in Phase 1A too.  Sixty-five or older, or certain health issues or medical professionals. They made the J&J available to teachers and it sounds like once the teachers are vaccinated, they will use the J&J for other Phase 1B essential workers. As a retiree under 65 with a wife younger than me who is a part time administrative assistant and with two healthy, youngish adult children, we were thrilled when Joe said everybody eligible to sign up on May 1.   May just get the shot before I qualify for the 1A group.

Amazing the niners went 6-10 last year had as many injuries to key players as the eagles and all over and yet won 6 games in one of the tougher division in football and had a pass defense ranked 4th, run defense ranked 7th and top 5 in total yards

If the 49ers had Wentz theyd have 4, 10 win seasons.

Prediction.

Jacoby Brissett beats our Hurts for the starting job

So you're saying Lynch was incompetent for not going out and getting a QB? But he traded for Garoppolo. Then signed him to a 5yr/$137.5M deal. And drafted Beathard.

Now we making excuses, aren't we?

No one has answered my question, would that performance be considered acceptable from Howie the next four years.

We are 1 year in, 3-13-1.  This year will be that bad IMO, and next year may not be much better.  That performance will only be acceptable to you, Howie is your idol.

of course not

because even his last couple of years were unacceptable at less awful records

Kettle meet pot talking about excuses for people. Literally all you do on here for howie’s mistakes. You know how many times I’ve read it’s just bad luck that the Eagles have had injuries. But when it happens to the Niners it’s all on John Lynch. Lol.

Idk get back to me cause you’re about to see it with howie going 9-7, 4-11-1 and likely bad this upcoming year as well. Then 2022 they might also not be that good. So If the Eagles don’t even get the 10 wins in that four year period what are you gonna come back with? There’s a realistic chance the Eagles from 2019-2022 don’t even get to a super bowl nor 10 wins in a division thats Fing awful.

I know sacks aren't everything for a DE, but, Okwara with 10 sacks is getting $10 million per year.  Eagles apparently are content with Barnett getting $10 million at half the production.

Do you think they should cut Barnett?

I live in Pa. I'm almost 59 and I have no health issues and I'm fully vaccinated.

That sound you hear is all the glass breaking at Zach Ertz's house.

why not just call today Day 1 of FA?  I never understood the "tampering" aspect.  Guys are signing.

Would be a good pickup if they had a QB. Sadly they got washed up cam.

Sign Brissett and draft a QB at 6. Pour some gasoline on this dumpster fire.

They aren't signing, just agreeing. Someone could always play the Frank Gore card.

According to Adam Caplan, we restructured Jake Elliott late last night. The paperwork simply hasn't gone through.

Should take trask as well at 37 just to be sure you have a cheap backup to the backup to hurts and the rookie.

They agree to terms.  Can not officially sign any contracts until the league year starts on Wednesday.
