It's going to be OL or DL

I think at #12 it’s CB.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Sounds like the Eagles came out in Hurts’ camp with this pick. Have 11 picks this year and nine next year.

I don't know about that.  Seems like they have a lot of ammunition to make a trade for a veteran QB like Watson or trade up in the draft next year.  If they don't trade for a veteran this year then Hurts only has this one season to show he deserves to be the QB.

Uhhh...in addition to the Giants, Boyz, and WTF....correct?

That goes without saying, of course.  I want them to all go 0-15-2.

Assuming they have 3 1st round picks in 2022 they’ve set themselves up well.  If Hurts plays well enough to solidify his starting QB job the Eagles can draft three really strong position players to build with.  If Hurts falters they have the ammunition to get up into the top 3 next draft pretty easily

Brady christiansen BYU o - lineman breaks broad jump record for o line runs 4.89 at 6'5" 310. 34 inch vertical

Pretty good athlete, PFF for what it's worth called him the best OT in the draft.

Regardless of what Hurts does they aren't using all 3 of those draft picks to draft 3 players in the first, I can guarantee you that.  How has built up what will likely be the best reserve of picks for next years draft.  He will not be able to help himself from using at least one of those picks in a trade between now and next year's draft.

Lol, Giants. A running back at 2. Bwah!

It sounds more like they couldn’t get the QB they wanted so they decided to add chips in the future to get their guy.

Ok... so... Dolphins trade back from 3 to 12.  then trade back up to 6.... so they move from 3 to 6 for a 2023 first round pick, and likely keep the higher 2022 pick, and trade the lower pick to the Eagles.

Is that right?

More or less. They also traded a comp 3 (Saleh in 2022 and a 2021 4 to get a 2021 5.

Ahh, those over-correcting Eagles again...

They literally tried to lose the last game. "3 losses" narrative is weak as hell. Not taking away from the overall point that the team is indecisive; that has been made pretty clear so far.

If the Eagles made a decision on the QB based on one game, especially that game... shame on them.  If they made their mind up the other way after the next 3 games... shame on them again.

And people wonder why I am so down on Lowie?   They have no plan.  They have not had a plan, and as more things happen the more it appears that 2017 was 100% a magical season, blind hog finding a truffle moment, and not any kind of masterplan that they executed perfectly.

By the way, aren't you the guy who always writes on here that you don't trust anything from the media? Where's that energy now?

1) I think the Callaways are best for foregivness/newbs/getting back into the game

2) Check out 2nd swing. there stuff is LEGIT, almost perfect condition they give a huge discount on. They had Mavrik Max(exactly what you need from your description) used for less than 500

The game improvment irons will help. The tech has come a long way and dont go used- worn grooves

but what you can do to keep cost down is is shop the previous generation models. I do that with wedges and it saves me a third.

ping just game out with the 425s so look around for the 410s on tgw and other sites. Places will be happy to clear them out

I was able to try a bunch of different Iron’s with different grip sizes.   Taylormade, Ping, Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno, and Wilson.
I had zero control over the Wilson’s, these were brand new D300’s, but holy crap, I had no problem hitting the 7iron 175-180 yards consistently.

The 410’s and the Mavrik’s are really nice, I went with the 410’s because they already had midsize grips, and those helped big time, the Mavriks I could even hit a slight draw.  They had a few really old Big Berthas, I couldn’t hit em but that was all on me, even older ones look like drivers next to the ball.

Mizunos were really nice looking clubs, but I couldn’t hit em, even used,  I’d need iron head covers for those, but I hit them better than any of the Taylormades.  No offense to anyone that uses them, I was a low 90’s golfer, hack, so my word means nothing but I hit a bunch of different sets, and all of them felt like the head was going to come off, weird lie angle maybe?

Thanks again for the help, I really think these Irons will have me breaking 90 pretty quickly.

Once the Eagles made the decision to fire Doug and trade Wentz, the decision on Hurts needs to be made by the new coaching staff.  Whether Howie and Lurie knew it or not, they embarked on the path of Jalen Hurts — travel it for one season.  Let the coaching staff make the evaluation whether he can lead a contending team once it’s built.

The frustrating part is that’s what the 4 games at the end of last season should have been for — and the consensus should already be reached now.
