Really? The Bengals are and have always been a meme franchise and the Vikings have been historically mediocre as well. The Eagles have been a much better franchise since 2010 and we all know it.

Dunlap and Griffen are better, sorry.

So because the eagles have been historically better than the Bengals and vikings graham gets docked.

What about JPP? He's been on some really good teams are his contributions less because of that???

One also forgets that as mediocre as you say the vikings are if I'm not mistaken Griffen vikings lost to grahams eagles in the NFCCG no?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

No one is asking for this though.

Drafting explosive EDGEs or corners that can win in press are more valuable in today's game than ever because they're rare. If you have one of them, it's so valuable.

Pretty sure that's consistently what the Eagles ask for...

Brandon Graham's one career pro-bowl was an 8 sack effort in year 11 as a piece of a horrible defense... the selection was mostly a tip of the cap to a long-lived high character guy.  Honestly, he's really never played the position at a pro-bowl level.

It was also a Pro Bowl played on a PS5.

I'm not "docking" Graham. I'm pointing out that in every statistical category Griffen and Dunlap are better than him and always have been. I'm pointing out they've done this despite playing on miserable teams while Graham has been on quite a few playoff teams and a Super Bowl caliber team.

Yes, the Vikings lost to the Eagles. I forgot Griffen is the only player on Minnesota.

If one just judges pro bowl level on sacks then yeah brandon graham has never produced the requisite number if sacks to be a pro bowl DE if one actually values more than just sacks Brandon Graham has aged at a pro bowl level.

Question. Jason babin is a 2 time pro bowler lots I sacks over 2 seasons on some really teams, would you take him or graham?

That's a disingenuous argument and you know it.

It is, but let’s not make one play a measuring stick for anyone’s entire body of work, including Graham

Malcolm Butler made a great play that won a Super Bowl — and he stinks

in 2021?  Absolutely.  If you have someone with that level of capability to disrupt a QB and pass attack with that volume even at the expense of contain, it's worth it.

This is 2021.  How many teams build around the ground game?

Graham has spent most of his career playing next to elite DT tandems.  What on earth is 250lbs of Graham doing that has been so critical for our run defense in a league that's not built on the run anyway?

I'm guessing that if Foles doesn't call Philly special then Doug calls a QB sneak up the middle for no gain.

Oh you thought I was kidding, he really did want a speed option

"I'm glad there was a timeout, and Trey you'll remember this play, but you probably don't know this was the play call before the Philly Special was run, before the timeout: we were going to run Speed O Left on 4th &1

"When we called timeout, I think my gut went, 'Hey, it's Philly Special time. If we're going to run a Speed O play, then let's just run Philly Special, because Speed O is just a speed option.'

"That play in practice, it never went well. I think we might've had a fumble returned for six in practice. So right away I'm like, 'Oh no. I can run this little speed option, but I'm probably not going to be keeping it.' So I ran over to Doug and asked  him."

Yes, the Vikings lost to the Eagles. I forgot Griffen is the only player on Minnesota.

Griffins has 6 play off games with a 2-4 record one against the eagles in 2017. Has 4.5 sacks in those 6 games.

Graham has 7 playoff games with a 4-3 record and 3.5 sacks in those 7 games one against an all time great qb that changed the outcome of the game.

Dunlap played for marvin lewis on some pretty good teams, they weren't elite teams but they weren't bottom dwellers either and yes dunlap was a good DE as was Griffen and I'd still take graham also considering dunlap and Griffen are out of the league while graham just finished one of the best years if his career statistically.

It seems some of us enjoy cheering for the player and the person they are as well. Others seem only to care about numbers.

Minnesota Griffens. Got it.

You can't be serious, not only was babin a total sell out on the field leaving all his teammates out to dry for his own numbers he was also a locker room cancer the whole team and city hated him and for all his glorious sack stats he has zero playoff wins or appearances to show for it.

Babin sucked, for every sack he got he gave up 10 more plays being totally out of position on run plays and pass play

Even when he made the pro bowl real DEs line jared Allen were making fun of him because they knew his stats and pro bowl were a product of a flawed asinine failed defensive system not a product of his talent.

You can argue Griffen or dunlap were better than graham and I could concede some points but to say babin would be more value than graham you're either trolling or sniffing paint.

You were the one that brought up team wins to justify dunlap if one is going to factor in a teams wins or losses there you go.

Taking the "passing league" stuff waaaaaay too far.

When they have to grasp at straws in such a way you know they lost the debate.

Really? I'm not the one digging into who the teams starting DTs were or what the teams winning record over the last ten years was

Seems if one can say graham isn't as good as others because he played for the eagles not the Bengals or had cox next to him I stead if geni atkins and run  defense doesn't matter only sacks and super bowl strip sacks don't matter only sacks for losing teams then I should be able to justify graham being better by usi g other metrics as well no?

Yes. What issues did Desean have?

McCoy I liked when he was here. If my memory is right, his abuse allegations came after he was gone. The ridiculous tip he left the waitress in Philly happened while he was still here, and it did affect my attitude towards him.

I agree; so is the NFL.

Which 6-7 games do you think we have a chance at winning?

Ok, he won't specify, but here are the ones I think we have a chance at:

All division games because that's always the case. On paper all of teams are better than us, but we all know someone usually shocks someone else at some point. So say we lose most but find a way to win 2 of 6 there.

Chargers, Panthers, Lions, Raiders, Jets are all also winnable games. All teams in flux with either QBs, coaches, or highly  inconsistent.

And that's not counting the 1 or 2 games that we pull out of a national darling that we inexplicably win.

6-11 is not crazy, we're bad, but we're not putrid. It will also be an uphill battle to get there.

Not bad
