I find it funny that they refuse to hand out 25 since Shady was traded but they hand out Westbrook’s 36 to every scrub that comes through.

I agree and have had that discussion on here before.

When healthy and in his prime westbrook was every bit as good a runner as shady and Westbrook has always been more dynamic as a receiver and a better blocker, throw in that Westbrook was a deadly Punt returner as well and Westbrook was just better!

Plus mccoy never won a playoff game.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

The Allman brothers were legit slayers

I have about as much musical talent as a garden slug and my knowledge of technical music is about on par with a garden slug but dang trying to play Allman Brothers on guitar hero rock band works up a sweat😊

I have an appreciation for bands with multiple virtuoso musicians or vocalists.  Listening to the Allman Brothers Band and hearing the guitar work of Dickey Betts, Duane Allman and others, or Lynyrd Skynyrd with Rossington, Allen Collins and Steve Gaines.  Steely Dan having numerous great session guitarists performing solos (my fav being Larry Carlton on Kid Charlemagne)

Three Dog Night is another great listen, formed to showcase 3 great vocalists in Cory Wells, Chuck Negron and Danny Hutton  — Family of Man and Celebrate are excellent songs where each take one verse

At least once in your life you should go to a Gay Bingo game. When the call is "O 69" the place goes crazy.

I may have to do that😄

Someone idealizes the boss it seems.  That’s fine.  Keep him on that pedestal.

At their best, yeah. Dude in 06 and 07 had like 2000 yards and 10+ TDs in both seasons while being the only weapon on the team.

but then again theres a lot of the "get off my lawn" yell at cloud types on here

I think he was just posting that we've never had a number 1 that's anything more than a STer. Like a "fun fact".

Sensitive 😉

Chuck Negron went dead broke and ended up having to tour really small places for a living late in his career. I heard him at a bar in the middle of the Adirondacks in the 1990s and he blew the doors off the place.

I LOVED Lady Ga Ga doing  "I Wish" at the Emmys. That was classic.

saw Skynyrd three times before the plane crash. ABB three times, never saw 3 Dog, and Steely Dan was basically a studio band only back in their heyday. i still love them all to this day. some of the best music ever made.

Yep. But the tourists are right, the best beignets are at Cafe du Mond  Then cruise down to the New Orleans Jazz National Historic Park and hope they have a band playing. Then to Mothers for Debris and a cup of red beans or maybe an oyster or shrimp po boy for lunch. I also recommend the WWII museum over in the Warehouse district and the State Museum at Jackson Square.  I lived in Metairie until I was ten.

Mr. B’s for brunch. My favorite restaurant in NOLA has been closed for years - Uglesich’s.😥
But the Anchor Bar is still going.😀

Ok. "looks stupid" says some loser watching a multi millionaire wear the number he wants lol.

Damn you are sensitive. "Go yell at clouds” coming from guy getting all upset about someone else’s opinion.

Nothing compares to Skee-Lo’s "I Wish.”

Everyone should eat at Commander’s Palace once in their life.  And Brennan’s for brunch. Not eaten brunch at Mr. B’s but last time my wife and I were in NOLA, we ate lunch there.  Caught in a rainstorm and walked in and surprisingly got seated. Weekday.

Volcano Shrimp?

Same here, there are maybe two or 3 country songs I can tolerate.

My wife is a huge Garth Brooks fan.

Your wife has better taste.  There is some great country music out there.  It’s folk music, music of the people, just like jazz, blues, bluegrass, zydeco, reggae and rock n roll.

Perhaps, but the chutzpah it took for her to do a song beginning, "Looking back on when I was a little nappy headed boy,” still slays me. And the audience was up and dancing.

Yup, too bad with all that musical talent they couldn't come up with more songs people actually wanted to listen too.

My favorite band of all time is still AC/DC and they've been incredibly successful playing song after song with two chords and mind numbing repetitive beats.

My wife says I like it so much because I don't have to think while I listen, that it's so repetitive and simple that it just channels into some sort of primal force.

I could listen to thunderstruck or back in black for days even though my favorite AC/DC song is little known

Ride On.

Probably more of an underrated band than Rush.   AC/DC definitely has some great songs.

As an Aussie, I think AC/DC is over rated.  There is so many Australian bands that are better.  Little River Band, INXS
