Bills moved from 12 to 7 with Bucs for Josh Allen , gave up the 53 and 56 picks in the draft . These charts mean nothing  , stop basing trades off them , teams don’t use them

Teams dont stick to them.  They don’t mean nothing.  It’s a guideline.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

That's really weak IMO.  I have a feeling this "brotherhood" is more of a pressure to do what others think more than anything else.  Do they really think it's what's right?  How are voluntary workouts any more dangerous than playing a 60 minute football game?

If you care about the "brotherhood" you should want to set good examples for the young guys and show how important every team workout is, voluntary or mandatory.  This is your JOB.  Any opportunity you have to get better or make your team better you should take it.

I'm sorry, this is just so silly.  I'm seeing "brotherhoods" of FCS football teams play together on spring Saturdays, doing whatever they can to get a season in.  Not ideal I'm sure to go through all of that and then gear up for a fall season right around the corner.

This isn't about safety one bit.  It's about the select few pressuring the rest to agree to this because they don't want to.

The NFL can control the environment as much as they want and make team facilities as safe as possible.  These players have jobs that pay them lifetime's worth of money and offer them most likely the cleanest and safest places to work around the country.  Grow an effing sack and go.  Stop acting so entitled to everything.  Every American faces some sort of infection risk on a daily basis.

Lots of smoke about Carolina wanting to trade out to recoup picks from Sam Darnold trade. If Pitts or Chase are there are 8, do you trade #84 + #150 to move up? That equals the value of #8.

No. Not that it's a slam dunk those picks become anything special, but the possibility remains that they could. Regardless of that, I don't think it's worth moving up for a WR when this team has so many holes.

Barmore is Daniel Jeremiah’s 42nd ranked prospect. He’ll be the pick at 12. Otherwise it’s gonna be O-line. Let’s not kid ourselves.

The players arent going to take the vaccine because they are predominantly black population and the media has told them that their doctors are not looking out for them in this pandemic. So now they dont trust them when they recommend the vaccine either.

This is why the NBA players did not agree to a marketing drive to promote the vaccine. And this is why the leagues will not be requiring it for the players. The players dont want it.

Well I think it’s more than just specifically this pandemic. There’s some negative history with vaccines in the Africa American community.

If Howie takes him, especially given his position, at 12, he needs to go the moment the pick is announced.

"...I don’t think you should ignore the possibility of [the Eagles] drafting guys like Rashawn Slater and Alijah Vera-Tucker."

If this happens, I'm joining you guys at the Howie doomsday meeting, and I'm bringing a pitchfork.

Vera-Tucker will be a stud. Not saying I want him at 12. Though I really don't want to see the G-Men improving their o-line by snagging him. If we want to move back and he is the choice, I won't hate it. As long as he is slid inside to OG. I want the o-line elite and Isaac is simply not elite.

Haven’t seen much love for Ambry Thomas in here.  Thoughts on him?

I like him as a second CB selection if they decide to double dip.

Where are other teams falling on this issue?

So far Broncos, hawks and Bucs have said no to camp , now eagles

They work very well when a QB isn't involved. When QBs are involved teams overpay to get their guy.

I don’t like hypocrisy and inconsistency.  If you are going to be a covid warrior and press players to avoid voluntary workouts, citing that data, then you better be pressing players to get vaccinated too.

It’s about to become a nasty national debate of how to restrict industries and individuals who are not vaccinated.  I’m not going there because no one has the right answer for how to handle that, although many will pretend to.  But if significant restrictions are introduced, sports leagues should not be an exception.

It is irrational and puts many lives at risk.

It’s a free country and people have the right to refuse the vaccine.  Cant force it.  Just as parents have the right to refuse vaccines for their children, another self destructive decision that also hurts others.

But just as the anti-vaxers are and should be ridiculed, prominent athletes who take other covid precautions, say they are risking their lives for our entertainment, and then refuse the vaccine...they earn public scorn too.

So at least it’s a league wide union issue, not an Eagles issue.  If everyone does it, then it just has global effects.  Probably more excuses about lack of an offseason for the new staff though.

But our main goal in 2021 is a better pick anyway.

These guys want least amount of camp as possible , less padded practices , less contact , it’s why overall tackling in the league sucks , same with all the injuries

The NFL, as a private concern, could mandate vaccinations as a condition of employment.

Unless it's Jeff telling Howie this is who we are taking...

They could try...I assume there would be a complex legal battle.  But they won’t touch that with a 10 foot pole.

There might be a legal battle about mandating vaccinations, but there also could be lawsuits form players who contract Covid-19 while their workplaces allow the presence of the unvaccinated.

I do not think legal challenges to required vaccinations in the private sector would be successful. Private employers already have dress codes and codes of conduct.  Perhaps, the lawyers in the crowd could weigh in.

well, the flu vaccine was mandatory this year for all employees where I work. They didnt mandate the COVID vaccine this year, because people would have flipped out with it being so new. But I suspect they will mandate both next fall.
