I don’t think he’s a great fit for the Chiefs. Baltimore was able to cover up his lack of athleticism on the edge by going misdirection, multiple tight ends and running the ball a ton. Reid is pass happy and doesn’t like to help tackles.

I don’t like the move much at all.

As long as he's a serviceable tackle, Mahomes will be able to cover up his deficiencies much more than Baltimore.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I don’t know much about that OT, but just seeing his size and ordinary athleticism makes me wonder if AR thinks he can turn him into Tra Thomas.  Tra wasn’t a spectacular athlete, but he was still an elite pass protector due to how he used his massive length.

Saying Brown has ordinary athleticism isn’t close to accurate.

There are always qbs that fit that profile

Are you sure?  It’s easy to say give Hurts a year, and if he stinks just draft a QB in 2022 — but when I look at the QB prospects, Howell is about the same size as Hurts (6’1), Slovis is a USC QB (they don’t produce top-notch talent), Rattler has been benched just like Hurts was — most of these prospects are all about 6’1 and I don’t see a really big arm in the group.

Tyler Shough might be the most interesting from a physical profile and runs very well — but he gives up the football.  I don’t see a sure-fire franchise QB yet.

Some good QBs next year , my top 5

JT Daniels

Jayden Daniels

Dustin Crum

Carson Strong

Desmond Ridder

Plus you have Slovis and Howell

We have been spoiled at center for the past 15 years honestly.  Every center found has been undrafted or Kelce.  I would be happy giving Seumalo a chance a center, but that means we need to draft the next LG immediately.  Wyatt Davis to the podium please.

Well previous Kelce our Centers were just OK. Kelce has been Amazing.

Either one of them would be perfect for us as they both already have an 'S' at the end of their names.

Agreed, but my point was that you can find centers late.  It seems like this might be the 1 position that the Eagles have correctly evaluated over the last 15 years.  I'd be totally fine with an "OK" center if that means we can allocate our draft picks to other positions. Slide Seumalo over if need be.  Kelce was a 6th round draft pick, and he's the total exception........not the rule.  We will never have a center like him for the rest of our lives, so get used to it.

Jamal Jackson was an anomaly as an UDFA.  Even Hank Fraley was above average until the Patriots handed him his lunch in the SB.

From a roster construction perspective, sure.  I’d rather build the overall roster talent first, then get the franchise QB on a rookie deal.

From a pure talent and upside at the position, though — Lance is a much better prospect than Hurts.  Three first round picks next season and how many QBs in 2022 will have that upside?

Someone posted the stat in here recently, that showed Lance was like 140th in completion percentage in passes over 10 yards. That's comically bad.

I agree his upside is higher than Hurts if he manages to get there, but that's a big risk.

JT will light the sec up this year , he can let it rip

Jayden is a duel threat , with big arm , needs to add some weight

Was JT hurt or something? Why didn’t he start at the beginning of the year?

Interestingly, he’s a bit more accurate than Wentz was in the same system, and more YPA.

If Lance is on the board at #12 I’m calling the Bears about their 1st round pick.  I’d also probably call the Pats about their 2nd round pick.

I still think someone will be there at #12 that most of us don’t see coming — whether it be Chase, Pitts, or Sewell — time will tell

I know he was new, but Georgia played two bad QBs ahead of him. Mathis was a train wreck.

They lucked into JT , they also had Jamie Newman who sat out , all were after thoughts to him

It’s LaCanfora so it’s probably 100 percent wrong, but...

"If the Eagles move back up, the GMs I have spoken to believe it's for Pitts or a QB. Never rule anything out when it comes to the Eagles and potential trades.”

Looks like he still had knee brace on and mobility wasn’t there yet so Smart chose not to start him

What are the chances that we draft another QB named Carson?

Per pff

Elijah Moore: 1,738 yards from the slot since 2019

Ranks 1st in college football

A little different than most I have done. For one, Vera-Tucker fell to our 2nd pick. A lot of times I go 0 OL, but I took 2 in this draft.

Different WR for me this time too. We have rarely even mentioned St Brown in here. Hes probably just going to go somewhere and make all the catches. Im more confident in him than I am in Amari Rodgers. And I think maybe St Brown can play outside too.

I also havent drafted DTs. This time I went 1 DT, and one DE. Theyve moved Kaindoh way up in their rankings. Used to take him with the last pick. Not he was a 5th round pick.
